Trauma Spike Act 2: The Aristagalde Floor

Rhonia considered just wrapping things up with some fireballs, as Jubilette likely lost whatever immunity didn't have to begin with to fire with implantation, and she had just thrown fireballs a short while before, it's not like changing clothes changed one's abilities...

Actually, that sounded like a good idea. Maybe, find two other female companions, one and old friend, another a stranger, and go around the world looking for shiny balls!

But then, Rhonia had an even better idea.

She threw her ginormo sword at Warbirth with all her might. She'd never expect it!

This was why Rhonia was a general, not just some common thug with a giant sword hunted by demons!

The Death Baron, still holding on to Jasper's Imprisonment, used its other large pincer to struggle against Kuhg's charge. The baron clamped down on Kuhg's right forearm and began electrocuting him as well, but it wasn't enough to stop Kuhg from pressing his attack regardless.

Roughly twenty seconds of struggle that seemed like an eternity left Kuhg on his back, smoke coming out of his ears. But he somehow managed to tear away the Hymnblade in the baron's eye...along with the eye itself, still impaled on the blade. The baron opened his free pincer and one could see another eye deep inside where the tentacles originated. That effort hurt the Death Baron bad, but more was going to be necessary to put it down for good.

Warbirth was getting close enough to try and beat Alexander within an inch of his life, but then froze and recoiled in agony as Kefka's Darkness spell ravaged the strange flesh of the Implanted, leaving it wide open the Rhonia's sword.

The sound of steel colliding into Warbirth's fearsome skeletal structure was almost musical. The blade landed a couple dozen yards ahead of where Warbirth fell. When Warbirth rose again, her bile was bleeding from a large gash in her bile sac. Much of her right arm was stripped clean of its probably-inedible meat, leaving the durable bone beneath. There seemed to be a spinal column that kept Warbirth connected despite the destruction of its torso, and it was just enough to keep Warbirth in fighting fit form, even without the projectile vomiting.

For Jasper the electrocution thing had been serious trouble, the creep had not made it obvious to begin with so by the time the electricity was running through it he was already getting a nice healthy dose of the stuff and his muscles tensed up big. He was in trouble. Kuhg had taken a bit of distraction that allowed Jasper to get enough control of himself to open his right hand moving it across Imprisonment before letting out a rather weak,

"S-sever..."

With the release from the current he met the ground hard for a minute breathing hard. It hadn't been the worse thing he had ever been through but it was rather close to it. He pulled his section of Imprisonment up again and had to think real hard of how he was going to approach this creep. Khug had succeeded at getting that blade out and the thing was in serious pain, but it wasn't looking so great for the barbarian if that smoke coming out of his ears was a sign of anything. He gripped his chain with both hands so he could sever the links easier this time as he whipped the chain toward one of the pincers, hoping to get an easy wrap and begin disarming its ability to shock the living hell out of people.

"Well, crap!" Rhonia spat, speaking the queen's english. In particular, the english she spoke before Aristigalde turned to a shit-hole. And then a desert. But she wasn't around then, so she probably didn't care about the matter.

She would have to run around and reclaim her blade, and in so doing have to avoid being noticed by the bile spitting Warbirth, or that other thing Jasper was fighting.

She could still throw fireballs, but felt it'd be odd, given Rhonia couldn't throw fireballs back then. For now, it was good to find metal to shove into implanted that wasn't a hymnblade.

Dashing around Warbirth in a circle strafe, with a goal of reaching her blade without suffering physical and fashionable impairment due to goo.

The Death Baron's left pincer darted out and snagged the chain. No electricity this time. No, this time the Baron tried pulling on Imprisonment, rearing the right pincer back to bash Jasper's ribs in.

Warbirth ignored Kefka despite the damage it received from him and focused on Rhonia. Rhonia was also focusing on Warbirth, and she noticed something that could be useful. Warbirth's misshapen head had a few...openings. There was the bile spout, of course, but there were also some holes that looks like they went right through Warbirth's solid skull.

Rhonia's sword was much too large to fit into any of those holes and pierce any juicy insides, though she was still free to pick it up. The holes were roughly large enough for Rhonia's fist, she judged.

[Overcast]

Jasper was about to sever, but no electricity, so no need. Instead when he felt the pull of the creature he dashed toward it. He assumed that the monster wouldn't anticipate that so it wouldn't bring the claw down quick enough. Still he was keeping a good eye on that big claw as he tried to dodge past it and maybe get a two leg tie he could constrict to mess with the ugly bastard's balance.

He kept the idea of sever on his tongue though, he didn't want a surprise shock that would mess him up his plan badly, but from what he saw while the crabby creep was quick, Jasper was still quicker.

Jasper had to move fast when the Baron raised its free pincer and slammed it onto the ground where Jasper had been merely a split second ago. The ground fractured and broke apart, falling into the maelstrom below. In fact, the ground was starting to break down everywhere. Large cracks from that opening pointed toward the Baron.

Jasper managed to get his chain around the Baron's legs easily enough, but they were powerful, and it would take a lot of force to bind the Baron. However, considering that the ground beneath the Baron was about to give way, Jasper may not have need of hogtying the Baron and would instead just have to stall it for a little bit of time.

"I am not punching my fists into anything described as 'juicy'. Mama Drill Instructor didn't train no fool."

Instead, Rhonia got into a good posture, ran straight at the miscreant, and gave her spine a well placed kick, followed by a karate chop straight down on her-
