I missed them a few years back and I've been waiting for them to come back to San Francisco ever since.

But yeah they're totally rad - I've seen a few YouTube videos of the concert.

Went to one a few years ago. A few things I remember.
  • Cosplayers, kind of a no brainer really.
  • Third of people had DS's with them, if you stood up before the show started you could see a sea of lights. I'm sure they were all networking together too.
  • It's still really surreal for me to hear the announcer trying to work up the croud shouting "ONE. WINGED. ANGEL!!" like a Fight Night announcer and the croud going crazy.
  • They played Beyond Good and Evil music. Marvelous.

All in all, it was a tremendous amount of fun. If you're a fan of video game music and/or Orchestra music this is for you! Too bad I cannot go this year.

I went to one a couple of months ago and it was pretty much like everyone has said. Cosplayers all around, DSs being held up like lighters, and people cheering and rocking out to things like One Winged Angel, Castlevania music, and even classic Mario. I had a great time going and I can't wait until they come back to my area.

Also: the best part of the concert by far? The chair. They put that chair on stage. So awesome. If only an Igor lookalike was present and occupying his throne.
