We've already estabilished that Dave's brother is Kamina. Now he's also The Flash. Dave seems to be very fast, too. Let's see, there's the above-average-at-everything guy ( John ), a probable glass cannon ( Dave ), a nuker ( Jade ) and...Rose. I dunno.

Seems clear enough to me; they're siblings. Siblings fight all the time, and it's only right for two particularly cool siblings to fight in a particularly cool way.

It's not out of bickering, it's probably just their tradition of Dave's struggle to one day surpass his bro in coolness, and his bro is merely entertaining his little brother's righteous but currently futile quest to one day be as epically ironic and cool as him.

Also any older sibling will tell you that making the younger one wig out is hilarious.
