Repling PM style to certain posts

I noticed that there is no way to send someone a quick PM about there message without using the Rep system... I dont like to use this forum, only because I do not wish to waste the Mod's time. but if there is any kind of a solution here, I would be grateful to know of it.

translation into easy-english: If I wanna say something about someone's post directly to them, and I do not want anyone else to see it, how do I do so without giving rep? I understand PMing, but it doesn't allow a reference to a certain post.

I submitted a test PM to you. Does it in any way refer to the above post? Because I clicked on your name and then clicked "Send a private message to Nikose." If that doesn't work, I doubt there is a system outside of rep.

You could always quickly copy the post in question and quote it in the PM.

Or, if you click on the number in the upper-right-hand corner of the post, it will display just that post in a new window. From there, you can copy the URL in the address bar and paste it as a link in your PM.
