I'm suggesting a new forum rule. If anyone wants to quote a post with blacked-out text, they should change the background to 222222. For the same reason you don't black out in pure black.

There is also Shiney's suggestion of a halfway color. Lets try #1a1a1a.

Test #1: (I am blacked out! Yay!)
Test #2: (I am sorta blacked out, but it's really more of a greyish color. So I'm greyed out. Yay?)Hah hah... it looks like lalala.

Eh. Doesn't work so good. Damn you Shiney. But Michael Morris's spoiler tag (linked to above) seems like a good idea as well.
