And no, I'm not talking about the voice of the leprechaun who keeps telling you to burn things. I'm wondering if anyone else read the book and when you read the characters, you heard them as though they were spoken by various actors and suchnot.
In my case, whenever I read Superion's dialogue, I kept "hearing" the words being spoken as though he were voiced by Patrick Warburton (aka, Kronk from "The Emperor's New Groove").
So, anyone else have any examples? Or am I just some kind of crazy man?

Alot of people do that. I hear Fizban/Paladine from Dragonlance as Patrick Stewart (If you don't know who that is you need to get the hell out right now ;)).
As for this book, Samuel L. Jackson for MMMM. I don't know why, he's half again the age of character. I have alot of trouble casting my favorite books because I just don't know that many actors, but Warburton is an excelent choice for Superion. Oddly enough, a few weeks ago I finally reached the breaking point from the ignorance in my store and just let off some steam in the form of exasperated ranting and I couldn't help but think "that's what Sparky sounded like in the court room scene." So at the risk of sounding narsasistic, me for Atomik Lad. (Frustrated by the stupidity that surounds me and completely overwhelmed by any women that show interest in me? Yeah, I can fake that :P). Just for shear shock value, Sam Waterston (Jack McCoy, TV's Law and Order) as Count Insidious. Larry the Cable Guy or Jeff Foxworthy for Judge Hangemall Letgodsortemout. For some reason Brendon Fraiser keeps coming to mind for Nuke, but I'm not sure he could play it straight enough. Tim Allen maybe? But like always, I don't really want star power in the main roles, I want people who can do them right and make the best film possible. I prefer quality to name brand any day of the week.

I always imagined Superion with the same voice as Big Guy in The Big Guy and Rusty. Don't know the VAs name.

Patrick Warburton is my first choice for Superion too. He played a character, Johnny Johnson, on News Radio who is basically that world's Superion. I had the character of Superion in my head for quite some time and then those episodes started to air and everything clicked.
I'd like to see Wil Wheaton as Atomik Lad. Although Jason Bateman is a close second. His character in Arrested Development is basically a grown up Atomik Lad without the powers: just a nice guy surrounded by selfishness/incompetence.

well most I couldn't place to be honest. MMMM though came out as sounding like the person that does Green Lanterns voice on Justice League. Dont ask me it just came out like that. And Argus always came out like the Dwarf from Lord of the Rings, including when I pictured him.

Warburton, again, is perfect for Superion. Also, I could almost hear Dr. Menace in my head, though not as a famous actress. Just the accent and hotness melded into a voice.
Count Insiduous, to me, should sound like Alfred Hitchcock, but perhaps with a little less... er, Hitchcock-ness.

I could see Brett Weaver for Nuke easy, at least in Voice. Lex Lang would have make a good Neifer as well.
Sorry to say though, I pictured them much easier in my head than hearing them.

Superion - Patrick Warburton (again, the most obvious an perfect choice)
MMMM - Taye Diggs
Nukie - Ryan Reynolds, the speech patterns seem to fit
Atomik Lad - Yeah, I would say Jason Bateman, seems perfect
Count Insidious - How about Gabriel Byrne for a shot outta left field
Nihel - Hmmm....I would say the guy who was the lead Nihelist from the Big Lebowski, because that guy is all I think about when I hear anything relating to Nihelism (Give me de moooney Lebowski or ve vill cut offf you jjohnsson.) But seriously, Christian Bale

Having read that, I realize I am a blind, retarded monkey for not having initially seen the parallels, which are painfully obvious in retrospect. My title as a NewsRadio uberfan is in serious danger of being revoked here!
(Only show where I EVER laughed for a week straight thanks to one of the jokes. When they get it on DVD, I'm buying it, even if it means I'll have to eat my shoelaces for a few weeks)

So I've hit the Superion section of the book and this time I'm imagining hearing that guy's voice. Holy cow, it's more enjoyable. Which says alot cause I really liked that part to begin with.

For me Angus' voice jumped off the pages best, all thanks to Brian's inate talent to write in accents. Sadly the voice I heard in my head was the stupid Riflemen from Warcraft 3.
And for Count Insidious for some reason i felt like counting whenever he spoke........

I always see and hear Sam Waterston of Law & Order. When Atomik Lad says something to the effect of "Unnatural powers? You feed on the living!" I see Sam's overacting whenever he hears something that doesen't fit into his world view of the case or one of his witnesses lie. Mostly, I think it's because I'm a huge Law & Order fan and it's funnier to me to hear his voice during that story arc.

In my mind, I hear Nuklear Man speaking in Comet Guy's voice. Comet Guy, voiced by Bill Callaway, was a hideous beakless freak (read: humanoid) alien superhero who came to Earth to study under its greatest hero. Unfortunately, he ended up with Darkwing Duck instead.
I hear Angus as a Scottish Yosemite Sam. Mel Blanc, duh.

Okay, please tell me others heard these voices.
Nuklear Man- The Tick's live Action voice.
Atomic Lad- Phillip J. Fry from Futurama
Others were less obvious
Doctor Genius- "Ima" got translated to Imra and I heard the girl from the Ninja Turtles cartoon.
