i had ordered Nuklear Age from b&n about a month/month and a half ago prepared to pay the 42.95 price tag of doom. Time travel forward to a week ago where my mother off-handedly remarks that i got a call the week prior saying it had come in. I therefore commenced to flip out so that we just happened to land in the same b&n. Little did i know however that a 75% discount was waiting to ambush me!!! 42.95 to 10.74? Any explanations? Or was the unforgettable text experience destined to come at a similarly unforgettable bargain?

Wow. I have no idea how/why that happened, but I'm glad it did. If only it happened more often :(

Did you click on the little thing when ordering that said you would agree to sign up for a B&N Visa card? That gives you a 75% discount...

i guess it was just a fluke or something then... i didnt order it personally, the lady at the customer service desk did. So if a visa is involved i cant be held liable... i cant even hold on to my library card much less a credit card..

Thank goodness Axl got it for so little, otherwise I wouldn't be borrowing his copy right now. And I must say, the book is worth the $43 price tag, although I wouldn't mind paying $11 for it myself...

Them there's awesome stuff, Brian. I especially like how Nuke handles telemarketers. The labelmaker is a nice touch, too.

Are you saying there is actually a hardback copy?? I've only seen the paperback and e-book versions, but damn, if there's a hardback I might have to buy your book.... again... (Yea, I'm one of those people who loves to have hardback books, and pissed when my friends inevitably ruin them :p )

If someone would tell me how to make 30 Bucks as a lazy High school student, I would love it...

Sell your kidney on the black market. That's good money, there.

Entrepreneurship is always a good idea, but then again it requires money to get started....

Wait for it to get into a library of some sort.

Well, you could get a job... and if you are really lazy, then its a safe bet you'll be fired pretty fast, but you'd make 30 bucks just during your training so hey...
