What kind of parents won't buy their kid a BOOK?
that's friggin messed up. tell them they are bad parents for not encouraging you to read more. shun them, shun them with much scorn and indignation. then tell them they can make it up to you by buying the book as a reparation.

Heres an argument: That it makes no sense for them to be discouraging you from reading, and even if you only read it once or twice that its more than most high school kids read for any reason other than English class.

Bah get a job. Dang it thats what i tell myself everyday, its time for me to go up to the movie theater and try and get a job.
Just get cash from you parents by saying i need lunch money and save that and just do the same for other things.

Go to Barnes & Noble or some equivalent (although really, what can even try to match B&N). Go find the customer service desk. Ask them for Nuklear Age. When they check the database and find that they don't have it, throw a ruckus. She'll say that they can order it and have it in a few weeks. Tell them that they better, or they'll hear from your parents. Wait a few weeks, they'll call, you go and pay with cold hard cash you borrow from your parents. You read, Brian gets another few bucks to throw on his bed and rolll around in.

Which boookstores carry or could order nuklear age does anyone know? Pm me as a reply please I'll probably never come back to this post. I dont want an online version. I'm more like the girls from Read Or Die. I collect books. I own around 70 books that I've bought with my own money. This is not including the insane amount that my parents have lying around the house. Including 3 sets of old encyclopedias (70's ish), a professional grade dictionary (~8k pages webster it must be insanely expensive), two stacked bookshelves, three coffee tables full, and others skewn around the house in various draw's nightstands, and other places. Dont forget Pm.

"Look at me, I have lots of books! I haven't read most of them, But I COLLECT THEM!"
Your puny Book-Fu is no match for the read-at-least-one-book-a-day training I have been having for the last 3 years. I have more books in this room than hairs in my butt, and I have a hairy butt!
