Bareesh Mecklan was ready to kill something. First, his boss had dragged him out into this god-forsaken jungle, then told him to help make a god-forsaken factory into a god-forsaken compound, and THEN stuck him out in the damn jungle to watch out for people.
He slammed his gun on the ground as a fly bit him and yelled, "I'VE HAD FUCKING ENOUGH!" Then a pair of hands grabbed his head, and he felt a jolting pain in his neck before complete darkness.
Shade dropped the body, and slid silently forward. He crouched low, and looked over the compound. Quickly made concrete wall, 13 feet high. Guards walking along it, guns not loaded, angry, depressed, tired. Childsplay.
He tapped on his headset and whispered, "Shade is good to go on the north. I've got Shad with me. How are all the other pairs holding up?"
Whispered confirmations of being in position came through. "Right, so one more time. I get Shad in to blow their comps open, then have Shad get me into the main pump room, leave the doors open, and go and try to drive to guards towards the jungle? And you guys are all doing other stuff as well? We're being payed how much?"
A quick reply silenced him. He turned to Shad, pointed at the door ahead, and gave the finger signal for "go to the left."

Shad rolled her eyes and looked ahead. Seriously, even for terrorists, this was pretty low quality. From what she could see, the door was coded, but that was hardly an incredible challenge. And then they'd let the jungle grow almost right up to the wall, providing excellent cover from the patrollers on the wall. And by the time you ran out of cover, you were pretty much safe anyways, since the wall-top guards never looked straight down.
She caught Shade's signal to go left, and complied, low-crawling her way through the bushes and foliage, stopping frequently to check for reaction from the guards, until she was almost at the edge of the cover near the door. Pausing momentarily, she signaled to her partner to remain under cover while she dealt with the door.
Timing her movement for when the walltop guards closest to her were both furthest away and not looking in her direction, she sprinted silently to the door and pressed herself against the wall, knowing that unless the guards looked straight down they would not be able to see her, and even if they did they might dismiss her as a shadow in her gear.
She carefully examined the keyplate, and pulled out a screwdriver. As far as she could tell, they hadn't alarmed the plate itself, only the door. She pryed the plate off front, and then attached one of her gadgets to the wires inside. Hitting a few buttons, she began the process of decoding the keyplate. There were, after all, only 10 000 possible combinations to check.

"Da Shade. Driver Team is ready for go." Crouching in the thick underbrush of the jungle, Arkedeslov contemplated the task ahead of him. After the South Team gets into the main compound and sets the explosives, the whole squad is gonna need to get out. Fast.
No more long marches out of enemy territory. No repeates of Afganistan.
It was a simple task, well within Arkedeslov's abilities. But there was a little patch of open ground between the thicket that Arkady and Wolf crouched in and the the entrance to the compound. about 10 meeters of very open, very well illuminated land with no coverage.
Taping his headset, Arkady swallowed his nervousness and whispered. "Comrade Moriaki, I do hope you're doing somethink about those lights, yes?"

Tappes his head set...
"Where being paid way to litle my friend" he whispers into his com unit. "Are you ready Brad?" his voice was as shaky as an oak leaf but other than that he seemed fine. "Soo what are we going to do... we need to get inside there"

"Are you ready Brad?" he said, voice trembling like an oak leaf in a spring wind. "So what are we going to do... we need to get inside there..."
Doc noted the quavering in Tor's voice, and made a mental note to talk to him about it after the mission. Not that he really blamed the Norwegian, though... this was probably his first time in a jungle setting, and anyone could get nervous on a mission, even one as simple as this. Though seemingly cut-and-dried, one never knew if Fortune would smile on you or bite you in the ass...
But that was enough psychobabble. The wall still loomed in front of them, and there was the matter of guards patrolling the top. Fortunately, they didn't seem to be carrying any radios, so it would take a lot longer before their absence was noticed. The lack of radios also meant that they had less thinking to do, and that translated into decreased awareness and increased vulnerability.
Should have gotten some dogs, you idiots... and installed better lighting...
He turned to Tor and whispered to him, "We're going to scale the wall. We'll wait until we're in the blind spots of the sentries, then we get to the wall and you boost me up. Once I'm up, I'll secure a rope for you to climb. We get to the other side of the wall, then hide right underneath the spotlight and wait for further instructions. Is that too complicated for you?"

Tor looked strangely at Brad "Hey I've done this before, you know that I was a scout right?" He shook his head and started to crawl towards the wall avoiding the lights and looking for patroling guards

Kalland checked the breacher on his G36K. He didn't want the thing to lock up on him should things get messy. He didn't really appreciate Arkady's remarks on the way here neither did he appreciate the pilot's flying.
Kalland looked at the wall then at Tor "ease up man this should be a cake walk, right Doc?" He had only known these people for about an hour including the briefing where no-one did any talking apart from the man in charge. Still he felt that same duty to his teamates as he did back as a member of SOCOM. Kalland looked at the wall and shook his head man they shoulda put some razor wire up. It seems as though there being too lazy Kalland checked his NVGs before indicating he was ready to go.

The warm touch of the wind, the gentle swaying of shadowy leaves, the sounds of twilight insects, the starfilled sky above, this truly was Henna's home. She sat quietly amongst a nest of moss in the middle of a tall tree barely visible in her black and green bush hat observing the situation below. She was the only squad member with out a buddy, it only made sense this way. Besides, what would the second person do? They would serve the team much better down in the fray. From her perch she had the perfect view of the compound below, the night vidion from her scope glaring green in her eye. Her tac com crackled to life, Comrade Moriaki, I do hope you're doing somethink about those lights, yes?"
"Well chief, from here I see about fifteen sentrys on the walls and inside the compound. I am pretty sure there are more, I'm not sure they would think it keen of me to shoot thier lights. It would sure as hell let them know we are here. I think your better off just avoiding them for now, if push comes to shove I can hit them later. I've got a good view of the entire compound from here so and I am staring at fifteen potential corpses, just give the order."
It was true, no challenge here. with reloading she could drop all of them in under a minute.

Arkedeslov bit his lip as he concidered this. He'd just have to deal with the open ground. Great. Doing a final check of his equipment, Arkady turns to his partner.
"Sorry Wolf, but you will just have to deal with the open ground, yes?"

OOC: I'm going to assume that since SS started the RP, his character is the leader.
"No worries buddy, the lights will go down when we need them to go down," Fuse said to Arkady, as he silently crawled up to the wall surrounding the old factory. His job was to set his explosives so that if everyone else needed a quick getaway, the enemy wouldn't have any advantages, and Fuse decided nothing brought confusion to an enemy like total darkness. He had crawled up to the wall and now stood flat, so a guard would actually have to look over the wall and straight down to see him. After a second and hearing the guards talking normally, Fuse began to slide down to a back door he had seen along here, hoping to sneak in that way. When he did get in, he had an explosive with the generator's name all over it...

Wolf had been on missions before, but most involved stealing a truck/boat/plane full of drugs/guns/money and escaping with it. This was something he wasn't used to...except for that last mission in Columbia.
He answered quietly "Open ground is no worry to me, Arkady. Just get me to a vehicle."
Wolf checked his guns. All of the silencers were still attached firmly Good, if I have to kill, it had damn better well be quietly.
He made a last check of his other equipment, and found it in working order.
"I say we wait until the sentries look away, but that might require a distraction." Wolf said. "Any other ideas?"
He heard Kalland voice saying "ease up man this should be a cake walk, right Doc?"
The problem where that he had heard the same things before in Afganistan and then his superiors had thought of him as dead. "Yeah yeah just follow me now and we will hide at the wall alright?" he moved a little to the side making shure the lights didn't hit him. "We get in and open the doors so that the rest of the team can get in easily ok?"

Brad tapped Tor on the shoulder and pointed to the wall, then signalled "I'll go first, you follow up."
After receiving Tor's acknowledgement, he waited until the two sentries had turned away from the corner he was approaching by, then he dashed up to the wall with a speed belying his size. As he gave Tor the thumbs up with one hand, he slowly fed a length of rope out from the loop around his waist with the other.

IC: Shade watched the numbers scroll by, and looked at the guard. He was walking towards them. A barely audible click was heard from Shade's gun as he put a bullet in the chamber. He levelled slowly.
The guard's gaze came towards them, and landed on them. Then turned away. Shade slowly exhaled a breath he hadn't known he was holding and lowered his gun.

Brad studied the wall. It was cracked, obviously a symptom of the cheap concrete they had used to build it. Scaling it would be child's play, after the lessons he had taken from Demo Dick and the Gold Dust Twins. His fingers found a crack on either side of the corner he was scaling and dug in, then he hauled himself up, handhold by agonizing handhold, until he was almost at the top.
His heart skipped a beat as he heard them talking.
"This is fucked up, man. We've been doing this for two days now! What the hell is Prayso thinking? I slept... what, maybe four hours in the past two days?"
"Fuck you, asshole, I didn't even get any sleep. That idiot Mario went and broke his leg when he tried climbing a tree to pick durians. Prayso woke me up and told me to cover for him, on top of my own stuff!"
"Damn Mario... How long do we have to keep doing this, anyway?"
"Until the government meets our demands... Or until Prayso gives the word to dump the Sarin into the river."
"Fucked up. Let's just kill those bastards and be done with it!"
"Amen to that, but Prayso'll have your balls before that. See you around."
Brad cursed, partially because of the burning in his arms and fingertips and partially because of what the guards had said.
Damn... too bad they didn't mention the location of the gas...
He heard the sound of footsteps on both sides receding, then he chinned himself up to look around. Their "security" was pathetic. The compound was too large for fifteen men to cover, so they made them work unreasonably long shifts. The lights pointed inward, rather than out, and seemed to be welded in a downwards-facing position, ostensibly to prevent infiltrators from blinding the wall sentries with them.
Which means we can do whatever the hell we want on top as long as it doesn't spill over...
He supported himself on the wall with his elbow, then looped the rope around the lamp-post before securing it tight. Then he gave Tor the thumbs up and signalled him and Kalland to come up.
As for him, he reached into his medical pouch and withdrew a long, thin scalpel.
The doctor is in.

Kalland looked at Tor and climbed the rope. He had done plenty of training of this kind during his SOCOM days and being of a muscular build it made it even easier to climb up the wall. Upon reaching the top the sat in a crouched position and indicated for Tor to come up.
When he saw that Brad was in he started to climb the walls.
"Better watch it here... keep away from the guards, keep away from the guards" he thought for himself.
With his free hand he drew his knif and continiued to sclae the wall untill he heard the voices of someone unfamiliar.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Hey Louie you oppened the doors?"
"No, why?"
"Some fuckers have oppened it doubble security ASAP"
"Ok, go to the controll room and wake the rest of the gurds"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Faen i helvete" he thought for himself, "why did they open the doors before we could take down the gate guards?"
He raised his head so that he could see over the wall and when no one was watching he got over it and walked towards cover
"Tors in... and who opened the doors so quikly?"

Brad stalked up behind the guard as he plodded down the wall. He flipped the scalpel upright, then grabbed the guard by the larynx, crushing it in his machine-tool hand, then jabbed the scalpel up through the base of his victim's skull and into the brain. All this was done in the space of two seconds, then Brad let the body down to the floor to prvent any suspicious thumps.
He breathed into the microphone, "Tor, kindly *kill* the other idiot for me."

-No prob Doc, he whispered back in his mic.
He started to move carfuly towards teh second guard with his knife ready and whe he had the chance he stabbed it into the soft spot on the lower back on the scull and into the litle brain doing an instant kill.

removing one of his flashbangs from its pouch, Arkadeslov smiled "This should get thier attention." Pulling the pin and throwing it out in front of the main gate. Turning, and making double time back to the gatehouse door, the sudden burst of noise and light erupting behind him. Leveling his shotgun, Arkady grinned and waited for the guards.

He got into cover on the other side, and yelled into the team's collective radios, "THE MISSION IS COMPROMISED! MOVE!" He changed frequencies and said "Control? We're compromised. Making evac now!"

The employer stalked back and forth as he looked at the team. "I'm told you people are the best. I'm told they don't even know it was you until they're dead. And what do you people do? Get within 200 yards of an objective."
All of the team was looking down. Their local computer nerd, Hack, rolled forward. Hack had been working with them, but he'd been shot and lost use of his legs, so now he was in a wheelchair.
"I can't apologize enough. Truly. I think they realized what they did wrong, and we just need another shot."
The employer glared at him, "No. No you don't. The government is out 200 million dollars, and the hostage is dead anyways. The terrorist gutted the plant, and got out of there. We now have no clue where a group of psychos with enough nerve gas to wipe out russia are. Deal's off."
He stalked away.
A silence fell over the group. Aside from the fact that Shade was the only one who looked remotely formal, their appearance had not helped. Shade slapped his fist down onto the table, "Okay, who was the wise ass that tossed a very loud grenade!?"

Wolf thought about what to do about the escaped terrorists They have to have left some clue, there has to be a way to find them... However, Wolf kept silent. BIC: Wolf saw this as an opportunity to speak up. "Sir, I suggest we take away Arkady's flash grenades, as well as anything he could use to make a noise. Maybe give him a Ruger .22 with integral silencer, you know...for defense. At least until he learns he's gotta be quiet. As for finding the terrorists, I doubt this will be hard. Most likely they're still going for a Russian city. My guess would be Moscow or St. Petersburg. Of course, you have the information contacts, so my idea is probably worthless. As for action, well, I say we go in real covert. We find thier new base of operations, then infiltrate it by driving a truck loaded with Sarin Gas and armaments right into their base, as if it were an expected shipment. Of course, we would be disguised. We get in, neutralize the threat, and then we get the hell out before they realized we've played them. At least...that's what I think."

"I have been relegated to observational duties. You need not worry about me ruining any more missions." Arkady said solemly as he sat down in the back of the room. "But I do have one question. "I did. They didn't mention it in the briefing because they didn't want to spook you. If we had taken the facility, I would have called in a helicopter to airlift the drums of toxin out. Of course, taking the recent foxtrot uniform into consideration, we'll have to start chasing the bastards down all over again."
He glared at Arkady and continued.
" If they want to transport Sarin, they'll need a specially sealed flatbed - other vehicles are too small for the gear needed - with negative pressure equipment and NBC protection just in case the gas leaks. And believe me, Mother Russia didn't build her gas canisters that well. So we can set up roadblocks to intercept any vehicles that fit that profile. Better yet, we can have Arkady make himself useful and nose around the shipping companies trying to see if any vehicles like that were hired or dispatched recently and get their destinations. Once we find the location of the gas, we can move on to stage 2."

-I still have some contacts in Norway, so if they go through there we could probably locate them but it's a long shot, and they would only go through there if they went to Russia, he grumbled -But it will cost me some money.
The lack of sleep wasn't any problem he was used staying awake 48 hours the only thing that bottered him was that the team wasn't used to each others takticks. -And oh yea, the next time anyone wants to throw a grenade tell us first alright, those things makes me nervous

"Coffee!" Shad took a long gulp. "And black and hot enough to eat through lead. You, Doc, are a prince among men." Feeling much more conscious, she pondered their current situation.
"Rigs to haul stuff like Sarin gas are pretty specialized things. They're not just something you throw together with some scrap metal and welding. And I strongly doubt there's that many in use right now. So if we can figure out where the terrorist's rig came from, we might be able to trace their purchase back and figure out where their cash base is. Which would lead us to the location of their base, with enough hacking. So that could act as a backup and a balance to whatever information you got from the road-blocks."

Leon looked at the judge and said, "Are we done for today your honour?" The judge nodded. Leon looked down and started collecting papers from his defense, and put them in his briefcase.
Following the genetic soldier Bio. Cor. incident he'd been in, he'd gone to law school. Now instead of killing people, he defended people who had. Big change.
He left the courtroom, and a hand fell on his shoulder.
"Hey Leon." He jumped at the sound of Shade's voice.
"Shade, what are you doing here? I thought you were with that merc team? Unless you've been caught of course."
"As much as I can see it happening, no. Sorry. I need a favor though."

Shad leaned back and covered her eyes with her palms. Hunting down one of those things was not easy. She sat back up, and looked at the computer. It was giving her the bluescreen of death.

Arkandy heard a loud crashing behind him as he was going back into the building. He turned to see a familiar looking computer that was crushed onto the ground. Wait...it was his computer.

Shad listened to the crash as the computer hit the ground, and sighed. Such a satisfying bit of destruction. And then she turned to the room of computers. "And let that be a lesson to all of you. No one BSoDs me."
Hack snicekred from his position in the corner where he was hacking away diligently.
She'd been using Arkady's computer to search for the company's that made Sarin-grade hauling equipment. Before it had crashed (literally. heh.) she'd had a list of three manufacturers. The only three. In the world. Apparently Sarin gas transportation was an exclusive field. And, strangely enough, all three were in Eastern Europe or Western Mainland China. How convenient.
She grabbed her laptop, and her wireless card, and went to sit by the coffee machine. Getting herself a new cup of coffee, she began to hack her way into the sales databases.

"Адский день"* Arkady grumbled to himself as he dragged himself back to the barracks. Once in his small room, he began to prepare for his next assignment. This one he could not fuck up. Changing into civillian cloths, he found that base security had alreadh serched his posessions for anything that could be risky.
In a secret compartment, inside a secret compartment in his weapon's case, Arkady found his grandfather's TT. on it was a note "If this comes back with any ammo missing you're in deep shit. -mngmnt"

Shade's souped up 87 firebird drove into their garage. They actually operated from a very big office building. Most of it was dead space, a lot of it was gear. In the entire thing, they only had like, 19 room or something. 19 out of 234.
He drove into his parking spot, got out, and made sure he DIDN'T bump into Shad's motorbike this time. He had no urge to lose use of his arm for another 2 months.
As soon as he got up to the room Shad was in, he looked at what she was doing. "If it means anything, I got another way to find these guys."
He produced a peice of papers with several names scribbled on it. "Run these, would ya', and tell me what you find."

Shad stretched and looked at Shade. She'd finished with the manufacturer's databases. It wasn't as if they contained industrial secrets, and so they weren't that heavily protected. She now had a list of all the rigs suited to Sarin gas transportation that had been sold in the past three years.
"Tell ya what. I'll run down your list of names if you'll do the lookups on this list of purchasers. Plus a chocolate bar. Deal?"

Holding the Aero bar, she waved it in the air as she looked at the piece of paper, deciphering Shade's writing. "Man, would it kill ya to write legibly for once?"

OOC: Where is this free online translator you found?
BIC: Wolf pondered the options for seizing a tanker full of Sarin Gas. Well, I could fly the team in by helicopter, and drop down on them. Or maybe drive a truck alongside it and take it that way. Or maybe give them a flat tire and steal the truck while they're fixing it...well, maybe that one's too complicated.
Wolf went looking for Shade. He finally found him leaving the room where Shad was hacking from.
"Hey, I have a few ideas for how to seize that truck if its still on the road. I just want to run them by you, just to make sure I don't end up pulling an Arkady."
Wolf told Shade his ideas in a quick summary, the helicopter, the second truck, and the flat tire method. When he finished up he added, "That's all I've got right now, do you need me to do anything to help find the terrorists?"

"Sir, here are the NAPS tablets and Atropine syrettes you asked for." The medical storeman gestured to the crate of supplies labelled "Army Logistics" and turned to get his clipboard.
Brad flicked his Spyderco folder open and sliced the tape sealing the boxes. He opened it up and nodded. Good... these would be enough for a team and a half.
"If you'll just sign here...?"
Brad kept the knife, took the offered pen and scribbled a signature before waved the corporal off. When he was alone, he flipped his cell phone open and sent Shade a text message.
"Have gotten the NAPS tabs. Will bring them over later."
He sent it, then took the crate of drugs in hand and left the room.
Hopefully, these will prove unnecessary...

[oh yeah, where are we? ]
Where to start? Arkedeslov's father had always taught him that the simplest ways were the best. So Arkady began his search in the phonebook. there were three hauling companies in the area that could possibly support such a pressurized container. Assuming he could avoid trafic cops, he could hit all three today with just his car.
"Ill need credentials," Arkady thought to himself, then added "and a car."

Kalland was bored stupid. So much so that he had wasted nearly two hours exploring the building and inquiring regards what everyone else was doing. As he wandered past Shade and Shad he muttered to himself "what don't you have anything better to do?" Kalland shrugged and wandered downstairs. He heard some kind of chatter and decided to stick his head through the door and investigate He spyed Henna with her head out the window talking to Shade who was also doing the same thing "its called an intercom people or did you think that the phone on the wall was solely for calling up that pizza place down the road"

Wow, I must be at the Microsoft building. They tell me exactly what I need to know and nothing that I need to know at the same time.

My Doctor-sense is tingling. A very grouchy woman will give me more work unless I give her this...
He smiled at that thought as he sprinted up the stairs, then held both the thermos and the box of supplies with one hand and dialled Shade with the other.

Brad waited until he was inside the office before answering Shade.
"Well, I don't like elevators. There was one op I was on where we had to kill a crimelord in a guarded building. A large part of our plotting revolved around ingenious ways to kill him while he was taking the elevator down. In the end, we decided to wait for him to come down, kill the goons at the front door in the space of time it took the elevator to descend 20 stories, then point a 30mm aircraft gun out the back of a converted SUV and annihilate him before he even knew he was dead. When I saw the photos in the paper the next day... well, let's just say that it made an abattoir look like your living room. Since then, I've always taken the stairs. Good exercise, too."
"Anyway, here's the stuff I got from the log people."
Brad opened his box and shoed Shade the packets of NAPS tablets and auto-injectors.
"Nerve Agent Pre-Treatment Supplements. Increases your resistance to nerve gases of all kinds. Invaluabel if we're doing shit like this. And the auto-injectors here are for in case some idiot actually gets hit by the gas, in which case I will take care to administer the atropine in the needles to his balls, that the world may be spared further morons like him."
He opened up the team vault and placed the box inside.

After 30 minutes of driving, they arrived in front of a large grey hangar near the edge of the JFK Airport property line. Wolf hit a switch, and the doors opened up to reveal a black F-14D Tomcat.
