Maybe I just missed it or something, but was the source of Atomik Lad's field ever explained? I'm almost sure I remember it being explained that it was someone else's KI field, after they determined it was not, in fact his own.. Or will this be explained in the *crosses fingers* sequal?

Oh, and I loved the book, even enjoyed the ending (with out actually liking the direction of it).

You're half right. It's not that the Field belongs to someone else so much as it belongs to itself. It has a KI sequence all its own. And that's strange because it's so clearly linked to Sparky's emotional state, but at the same time, has elements of indepedence.

I think it was explained as being his soul's KI field by Doctor Menance. Of course, she could have been wrong, but it does seem like a logical explanation given what Brian said in his black text.

Just a quick question to Brian: Where did you get the idea for the whole K.I. thing? Im just curious if you based it of something, just your own idea, or......whatever.

Kopelson Inrinsity, or K.I., actually comes out of a lot of things. I first got the idea from the idea of chi which, in Japanese, is "Ki" (get it, Ki, K.I., I am so clevaaaaaarrrrrrr).

But it's an amalgamation of a lot of ideas rolled into one. I was influenced by M Theory, Hyperdimensional theory, Field theory, Chaos theory, and probably a half dozen other things that aren't coming to mind at the moment. It's basically the Nuklearverse's version of the Theory of Everything.
