Just a quick question...

I ordered my copy off Amazon.com at the start of the month, and I'm better sure that I did the rushed delivery deal with it. Anyway, Amazon.com is telling me that the estimated arrival date is like in December, but I've been reading on the site that it should be available sooner than that. So, in closing: Should I be getting my copy sometime soon, and is Amazon.com wrong with their estimated arrival date rubbish?

Thank-you,
Sean Dwyer

I would sooner trust the estimated arrival date that they sent you. If there's any sort of major change to your expected delivery date, Amazon lets you know.

Albeit, that's usually on the day you're supposed to recieve your item or maybe a day afterwards, but yes Amazon will let you know...

(Needless to say, I've far too much business with Amazon for my own good.)

I just got a note from 'em that they've sent my copy out. I ordered my copy very soon after Brian posted the notice on the front page, so I may have gotten in close to the front of the line. Those who ordered later may have to wait for later shipments of books.

I'd be curious to know how many Amazon has sold vs. how many they have shipped. There's probably someone out there who has ballpark figures... ;)
