When a mature deathwyrm lairs in an area for more than 6 months, changes start to take place in the environment.The sky becomes unnaturally dark, even on the brightest day. Normal animals become hard to find, and the territory becomes a bleak landscape of twisted, dead trees, hardy weeds, and undead, mutated or otherwise unnatural animals.

As far as magical tendancies, a Brown Dragon's nature does not lend itself well to the ways of Magic.
During combat situations, the Brown Dragon shows a preference for the rending and slashing of Hand to Hand combat.

Dragon Description:
Brown Dragons are Urban. They love spending time in Human form and have been known to spend their entire lives meddling in the power struggles of a single city. They love to socialize and seek human contact often.

When in their natural form, Brown Dragons have scales of a dark chestnut color streaked with amber. It is very rare though to see one in dragon form.

The Brown Dragon shows a remarkable affinity for wizarding. They are very intelligent, and are constantly on the search for knowledge. From a distance, the Sun Dragon appears as though it is made of pure flames. In truth, it is not made of flame at all but it does maintain a constant should of flames around it's body. This allows for both very effective armor and a stunning appearance.

During its adolescent stages, a Sun Dragon's body begins to excrete an oily substance through it's skin which burns slowly over time, like napalm. When it reaches this age, the Dragon is ignited by it's elders. Sun Dragons are totally immune to fire.

After it is ignited, the Sun Dragon's flames will continue to blaze for the whole of the dragon's natural life span. Sun Dragons are extremely fierce in combat. The Sun Dragon is among the noblest breed of dragonkind.They are revered both for their ferocity in combat and their great wisdom.

I am a A Heliotropic Dragon!

Instead of scales, Heliotropic Dragons have a thick hide to cover their body. At the early stages of life, the Heliotropic Dragon is green with red speckles that resemble blood spots. When fully grown, the dragons color changes to any number of variations of violet, but predominantly they have a deep, reddish purple color with streaks of azure blue and magenta.'
This unusual skin type also gives them an unusually sleek appearance and allows them to move with greater speed and freedom both in air and under water. These Dragon's are known to be highly competitive.'
They often meet with other dragons to compete with each other for sport. NOTE: A few small villages have been destroyed by being so unlucky as to be in the path of a speeding Heliotropic Dragon taking a shortcut to gain an advantage over it's competitor. The Scarlet dragon has brilliant red scales edged with a slight hint of blue around the fringes. It is unusually sleek as far as dragons go, and is a very fast flyer.'
Scarlet dragons are playful, almost to an extreme. They are often found wrestling each other (sometimes causing much damage and havoc.), racing each other, and scaring the living daylights out of completely innocent bystanders.'
It should be noted here that they do not intentionally harm these innocents, at least not without just cause. Although sometimes accidents have been known to occur as a result... While close in appearance to the Red Dragon, the Scarlet dragon's nature is nothing like that of it's evil natured kin. The Scarlet dragon is playful and generally good natured, (although it has been known to have a bit of a temper).

The warder dragon is a large and bulky dragon, with large strong legs and arms. The size of these mammoth dragons starts from birth at the size of a mature border collie! But don’t be fooled by these big dragons, they aren’t slow, but aren’t fast, and they tend to be more peaceful and talkative than most dragons.

Warder dragons get their names from the fact that they radiate a holy magical aura from their large tattoo like markings that may be anywhere on their bodies, the aura destroys "pure evil" beings, but higher evil ones will just be phased. The warder dragon loves love, and enjoy being in relationships with mates, and they despise weight jokes and anti-self acceptance jokes. Copper Dragon

Copper Dragons make their homes on wooded hillsides, preferably close to a spring or river. They are fond of the Irish and typically speak with a soft Irish accent.

At birth, the Copper Dragon's body is covered in semi-reflective copper scales. As the dragon matures into it's young adult stages these scales become more polished and highly reflective.

As the dragon grows older and moves to the elder stages of life, it's scales begin to tarnish and mature into a bright greenish brown color. Copper dragons spend little time among humans, but can be often found among the elves and other magical folk.

The Illusion Dragon is a rare find indeed. This dragon will use its powers of illusion to create whatever kind of place it wants to live in. The ability to change the appearance of any sort of matter, including air, makes this dragon a force to be reckoned with. This dragon has no preference to what location it makes its home, but will make it out of the way of civilization. When an Illusion Dragon does not want a creature in it's domain, it will alter the appearance of the landscape to make it appear as if there is a chasm in the way of the creature and then lead the creature out with an illusionary road or trail to follow.

In the rare occasion that the Illusion dragon faces combat, It will change the appearance of the landscape and create the illusion of objects flying towards the aggressor to intimidate and disorient it. In the even rarer case that the dragon feels threatened enough to actually fight back, it can cause much fear and panic by making its voice emanate from the attacker's body as well as cast an illusion upon itself to make it blend in/disapear with the background.

An illusion dragon has no certain color on it's scales. Instead color seems to swirl around the body like waves of light. When the Illusion dragon is content or calm, the colors will be a light pastel. When angry, the scales will swirl with a deep red. when sad or grieving for others, deep blues or purples. curiosity manifests as a green in Illusion dragons. When the Illusion dragon has yellow mixed in, It is cautious or is issuing a warning to others.If you ever engage in friendly conversation you can expect an Illusion dragon to be honorable but slightly mysterious, Offended easily, you should always maintain a courteous and treat the dragon with respect and honor. The Illusion dragon is well versed in the methods of persuasion and manipulation, so be on guard for what seems like a good idea if it seems to benefit the dragon more then you. Trying to manipulate an Illusion dragon rarely works although they find it humorous when a mortal pathetically tries to influence a dragon with words.

A rare and unusual dragon, seldom seen due to its ability to shift through time. However, seeing time dragon often means great changes and unusual events are about to occur. A time dragon is transparent in coloring, much like an irridescent smooth wine glass or glass catfish. Young time dragons are playful and inquisitive, able to teleport themselves at an early age. as they mature their scales take on a more irridescent hue, sometimes reflecting more of a blue, green or red coloring.

Mature time dragons are reclusive, but have been known to involve themselves in the affairs of humans for reasons that no one can be quite sure of. Their ability to travel through time makes them virtually omniscient, as they have seen first hand the outcomes of fate.

The Amethyst Dragon makes its home in the deep caverns of the earth, often in mountainous regions. They spend much time in hibernation as one of their favorite things to do is to sleep.

Formed from translucent amethyst, it is an awe inspiring sight to see one in it's true form. Light passes through the dragon's body creating a deep purple glow. It's scales will magnify the light rays into bright lavender beams to highlight this effect.

Amethyst dragons spend most of their time homebound but do occasionally feel the need to take a sojourn to a far destination. These dragons love books and will often pick their destination from one of the many stories and histories they may have read.Amethyst dragons are very solitary in nature, but do keep a distant watch on the world around them. They will fly and frolic amongst the clouds during a storm, where their forms are indistinguishable from the bolts and flashes of lightning all around them. Their unseen presence overhead is often indicated by a faint smell of ozone, and humans in the area may notice static electricity making their skin tingle and hair stand on end.

The Electrum Dragon is a transmutation from the element of earth to those of fire and air. it embodies the secondary element of electricity. The hatchlings are clothed in scales in shades of silver and gold, from eggs that resemble ordinary rocks. Unhatched Electrum dragon eggs can often be found as thunder eggs.
