First off, Welcome to the Nuklearpower.com forums.
Second, don't spam, please. Nuklear Age is the recently published book that Brian wrote. It has to do with Nuklearpower.com in that they are/were written/made by the same person.

It's $32.00, not $70.00 You can find a little more about it here (http://www.nuklearpower.com/nukefaq.php).

The pricing depends on where you're situated in the world, alongside packaging, shipping, and hamburger stands.
Then again, $70 is a bit extreme. $50 or $60 is what probably you'd be looking at if you're situated overseas.

Then I'd suggest not buying it at your local Borders. The retail price is $32.95.

Relax Brian, I'll handle this one. Nuklear power guy, you obviously live in Canada. Go buy it for 70 bucks, (since that's roughly its Canadian price. It apparently varies from exactly the Canadian exchange rate value of 33 American Dollars to slightly higher thanks to the cost of shipping and handling). If you happen to live by the border, rather than just Borders, CROSS IT, and buy it in the states so you don't have to pay any sales tax... then read the column posted TODAY on the main page, written by Brian, explaining what it is, and what it's not.
It's not the tick.

Just goes to show ya how folks just don't pay attention anymore. I clarified that in my other post.

Um...it says exactly what Nuklear Age is right under the "Nuklear Age" forum title. Didn't you see it right when you came in? And there are several other threads dealing with it in this same forum.

just for the record the canadian price ala amazon.ca is $41.57 cdn not 70 bucks also notice the sales rating 2,460 is that good or bad?
Kurosen

The lower the sales rating the better. For instance, Nuklear Age is still under 600 for Amazon.com (as opposed to .ca or other).

The rating got up to 24 on the evening it was first available on Amazon. Whew!

Well, if you live in the US, then the price really shouldn't be a problem. You'd be buying it at $32.95 ;)
Unless Michgan becomes part of Canada overnight.

You know, it might not be a bad idea to put a thread on this section of the forum solely dedicated to a synopsis of Nuklear Age for those people who don't know anything else about it. What do you say, Brian?

Curse you borders! Curse you! How dare you wage a secret war on the great state of Michigan.
Price gouging! Avast we get enough of that behavior on the pump. 2.20 a gallon for unleaded. Ye Gods. When is this fat Iraqi Oil going to flowing in so we can tell Opec to fuck off?
Anyway I'm confused, as a fellow michigander as to why the book would be priced so high, what general area of michigan are you coming from east or west? The U-P? Where?
Its priced normal over here on the west side last I had checked.

Um, I don't know what you're doing wrong, but Amazon.com always lists Nuklear Age as $32.95.

I'm selling copys of the book on ebay, and the bids keep going up... it was at $70 at one point. Its probably gone up since then too.
Why so much? Brian blessed these copies with some kinda voodoo. And then I stole them from him.
Hey, I had a thought. Brian, have you considered some comic book format ..um... comics, based on nuklear age? I would at least like to see some illustrations of the charecters you've invented, if they do indeed exsist or will at some point.

So, are there any plans to have Chapters (a major Canadian bookstore chain) carry the book? I suppose I could just order it from amazon.ca, or wait for it to be available from ZeStuff, but I've got a discount card for Chapters that expires in a couple of months, while I'd have to pay full price from Amazon.

Holy crap, that's expensive, although it will likely reduce shipping costs for me.
Hey, they teamed it up with a Pratchett book. Isn't that something?
