Relax. Sit down. I'll tell you how to create a character in a LARP.
First, think of a character. Since you're going to act as him all the time, you should make him like yourself. Then, decide the characters background. Once you begin the actual LARP, try to work what you've designed into conversation. Other than that, all it boils down to is improv.
Creating the character really depends. If you've got no clue, ask one of the "big guys" what the characters should be like.
