What is good is that no matter what, anything I come up with can work. If it's Sci-Fi, they are aliens. If it's fantasy, they are fantasy creatures. If it's modern, mutants.

Unless the RP in in a realistic (Boring) world, what ever I come up with works.

Nah. You can, plausibly, have atomic bombs without cars and running water, and vice versa. Not likely, but, hey... it's plausible.

Edit: For instance, let's say that guns had never moved past their powder load equivalent, because after a few battle tests people found that you could fire arrows faster and they were nearly as effective. You could then have a world that progressed normally, except we'd still be using swords and arrows in combat instead of guns.

An example is Final Fantasy. Plain steel swords and airships, or big nuclear guns with simple boats.

Maybe someone created nanotechnology that increases a sword's blade to the point it can cut anything, and technological adaptations have rendered guns almost useless against humans.

By the by, BM has given us magic.

This is straight from him.

Ok, magic has to be seriously quested for. First, you have to figure out what your own Spirit Guide is. This can be anything from nature.

To find out your Guide, you basically have to get isloated, starve yourself (the application form), then wait it out till it comes to you, and then it'll say that you are ready to find it (the callback).

Then you have to find where the 'shrine' to that Guide is, and get there. Then the Guide appears, sees if your worthy to be its avatar(they can only choose one a generation, they can afford to be 'stingy'), and brands you (interview and uniform).

Now, while it may be a bitch just to get to the interview, the job is pretty kosher. The Guide will always be there to instruct you (some are better than others), and you gain whatever powers are associated with it. A Coyote avatar might be a trickster, Cacti avatars might be able to grow thorns and shoot them and retain water, Hawks get good eyesight. This doesn't mean the elements get boned, some of nature are element oriented (volcanoes, forests, etc.) but they are really picky and don't feel bad about not only rejecting, but seriously fucking up whoever they consider a joke.

But some Guides are very particular about the world. A forest guide might hate deforestation, so you wouldn't be able to touch anything it considers a threat (swords, axes, lasers), while a fire guide hates water, yadda yadda.

So yeah, thats bout it. Pretty simple...for a crazy ass RP.

Note: I hate mechs. Although I kinda want to put them in, but make them as absolutely pathetic as they would be if they actually obeyed the laws of physics. (A bipedal machine would be almost completely impossible to balance and keep walking. Especially one of that size and weight... not to mention all the strains on it's lower body when moving on land... etc. etc.) so some guy with a knife and equal training as it would take to pilot one of those monstrosities would be more effective. Here's what I got on God/Religion so far (At first I refer to the God in third person, but as I go down I start refering to him in first person. I had that mind set in after the commandments and it stuck subconsiously).


The Creator/God/Omnipresence One/What ever you want to call him is named Pooky. He is a giant teddy bear.

Randomly, he visits the planet, just for the hell of it. During this time he does what ever the hell he wants, because he’s God, he can do that.

With his all seeing eyes, anyone that even attempts to harm any sort of cute, baby animal on purpose (Or on accident and not caring) is instantly smitten and doomed to eternal torment. But, if some one tries to use an animal for a shield to protect themselves, knowing what happens to those who harm animals, they will be smitten. Adult animals can be harmed, but only for hunting purposes, and self defense. Otherwise, doomed.

Every month, each town must hold a raffle. The winner of the raffle (Cannot be a child or old people) is publicly stoned by the rest of the town. There is no real reason for this, but Pooky finds it amusing.

Every day everyone must pray to him. The pray takes 30 seconds. If you try to rush the prayer, you will be electrified. Any who do not pray will be shot by Pooky all seeing sniper rifle team from the heaven. But they won’t be killed, just shot in the leg or arm or something.

Pooky assigns the role of Guides to mortals he likes, who then become immortal guides. But if they ever annoy Pooky, they will be smitten.

Anyone who harms a teddy bear in the same fashion as harming a small animal will be dealt with in the same fashion.

Every year Pooky demands from each village a young, female virgin. Though he does not ask for a hot person, if the village gives him an ugly person, they will all lose a limb of their choice. Once Pooky gets the virgins, he puts them in giant jars and keeps them as pets.

There are 5 commandments (Commandments meaning “The rules Pooky felt like writing down).

1) If you do not think I exist, I will personally come over to your house and kick you in the balls. If you are a women, I will kick you in the ovaries (I’m god, I can do that). If you are still not religious after that, I will continue to kick you until you are.
2) If you worship some one else, you are stupid, and you will become like that permanently.
3) Thou shall covenant thy neighbors wife, or thou shalt never covenant again.
4) If you are ugly, that means I hate you.
5) If you are hot, that means I like you.

All families must have a pet. There choices are either cats, dogs, penguins, lemurs, komodo dragons, talking birds, Cthulu, or a howler monkey. Other pets will be accepted, but the family must make a sacrifice. The sacrifice can be anything, but it has to please Pooky.

Alright, I have to get off now, and I won't be back until Sunday, so here is the idea of the Social Structure of the world.

Basically, most of the world is a Technocracy. Those with the most technological power from the Old Ages before the Fall of Technology are respected and given high status in the nations. Even a junk collecter that comes across a bunch of very powerful artifacts would be treated with great respect and given much power. Basically, technology is like Land in older kingdoms: the more you have, the better off you are.

Other then the Techno Elite (Those that own the greatest technology, and still know how to repair and operate it), who are equal to a Council that rules the kingdom, it then goes into a more Feudal system, with the Techno Elite granting gifts of technology to those they give status and power in the kingdom. A ruler of a kingdom might have a personal sheild, while the liege over many kingdoms might have a suit of protective power armor. Knights frequently have Cybernetics to improve their power in combat, and to show their rank, and the higher the persons rank and skill, the more cybernetics (Elite Generals, Important Lords, and the Techno Elite are usually more Cybernetic then Flesh and Blood...)

The Serfs, aka 75% of the population, is kept in line with a strict code that binds them to their lands, and offers them technology and aid if they serve their lords faithfully. In some cases, if available, the Techno Lords will even use advanced Mind Control devices to keep citizens of massive cities in perfect line with their wishes.

Well, Krylo went with Medieval Weapon Tech in a High-Tech world, so I figured technology had to have become rarer and harder to produce with time, and that if there was a stigma over weapons tech, a general stigma over all tech would have appeared...
