Okay,
It's the year 2005 and a special branch of the goverment has found a way to cause people to mutate. These mutations can be very subtle or very dramatic, from people unlocking certain powers of the mind (such as telepathy or telekinesis) to people mutating into lizards. The process cannot be controlled and any beneficial mutations are purely random luck. However a large group of volunteers were experimented on to learn more about the process.

two volunteers mutated into the same kind of mutations. Blood drinkers. They had unnatural speed and strength and could only feed on blood. Their intelligence suffered as a result of this change but not enough to stop them from escaping. And breeding.

Now there are many blood drinkers spread throughout the united kingdom and they are steadily spreading to other countries. Quickly those volunteers with useful mutations were recruited. They became: Task force X. Trained to destroy any and all blood drinkers they encounter, those in the task force are determined to complete their mission. But even though their numbers grow steadily the blood drinkers are growing much faster. The legend has become reality.....the vampires are amongst us.

I really don't want any more than 6 people participating in this roleplay(including me) but anyone who does sign up can choose any mutation they wish. However only one beneficial mutation per person. for example I don't want any people with super strength, speed, intelligence and mental powers. Choose 1. You do not have to choose a mutated character but then your character will be at a sever disadvantage.

Ooo boy... I've seen something like this as my first Roleplay ever. It was fun, but it contains some VERY bad memories.

But... The past is the past, and I will accompany you.

Name: Expriment #43 or 43 for short.

Gender: Male

Age: ???

Mutation?: Yes, Ability to make, manipulate and control ice.

Appearance: 43 hides his name along with his entire body with a large blue cloak and a hat that covers his face. (Fine... think Black Mage)

Personality: Quiet, secluded. Only talks when talks to and really has something to say.

History: From the papers that were filed under his name, 43 happened to be a good kid, but was never really popular in school. When he heard of the mutation testing, he decided to try it out, to see if he got popular at school. However, something terrible happened to him. That's all that was filed, and everything else was destroyed by him.

Apperance: Nothing on his body shows. He wears a face mask with only eye holes, covered by shades. He wears a black cap on his head. He wears a white T-shirt followed by a semi-destroyed demin jacket & a green vest. The vest is made of metal on the inside, worn at all times to be used as armor and to act as a training device. The more he does using the vest, the stronger he gets. He also wears demin jeans and track shoes.

Personatily: Unknown. Rumor has it that he is a ruthless force, neither good or evil. This is unconfirmed.

You have to admit, (and I think you did) you do use those two character archetypes a hella lot.

How about...a guy who can change his limbs into animal limbs (for me)? Like frog legs to jump, gorilla arms to punch hard, cheetah legs to be speedy, and etc et al.

Mutation: High intellect. Thus she can study 12X times faster then a human.
Appearence: Pale white complexion, wears clothes, that are up to 3X to big and cover all skin below her face.

Personality: Cold, calculative, talks a lot. Very hard to befriend.

By the way, sending pictures up into the web here is a bother. I have to set quality 0 and cut a picture into a tiny piece.

ok.......I guess I should have checked this earlier but whatever. I may not have explained the mutations very well......I'm afraid magic is out. Magic is too general and is more like several mutations. If you want to have a black mage like character then you could make your mutation the ability to use pyrokinesis.

Also this RP is only a couple of years in the future so I'm afraid that high technology is out (such as breastplates that make you stronger just because you wear them). Because of the blood drinkers very little scientific research has been done so technology is still the same as it is today.

Mutation?: Pyrokinesis
Appearance: He is average, about 6 foot and wears denim jeans and a red shirt with a denim jacket. His build is average, not scrawny or built up, he has red hair, and piercing blue eyes.
Personality: Friendly, but not super talkative. He is a good guy, stays true to his friends, can be serious and a deep thinker, and has a good sense of humor, but he has a quick temper and has a problem with reacting without thinking.
History: He was an average guy, living a normal life, but he always felt like he should be doing more with his life than just being another worker. One day he noticed the sign up for medical testing of some new experiment with "mutations". He was low on money at the time, and figured that this could be interesting and the thing he was waiting for...

Looks: Amelia stands about 5'3". She has long dark hair that is almost always pulled up and brown eyes. While she is laid back most of the time and wears mostly Hawaiian shirts with her jeans and sandals, she has also been known to wear things that would seem to be more fitting to a girl her age.

Short History: Your typical college age student, Amelia was going to school to be of all things, a teacher. But when she and her friends learned of the 'mutant' experiments, it was decided they would all go and try it out. However, her friends had only been joking about it, so she was the only one to go to the testing facility.

Personality: She is a rather nice person until angered. When meeting people for the first time she is also very shy. She can be a bit clumsy, and is far too naive for her own good sometimes.

Appearance: About 5'7". Short black hair. Wears green khakis and a heavy blue coat. Constantly carries a bag full of assorted books and short stories.

Brief History: Graham was once just another overly angsty lawyer. He went into the mutation program searching for meaning in life, and came out completely changed. The former Angsty McAngst was suddenly focused and purposeful. He rose through the ranks of Schluyer, Schluyer and Brown (now Schluyer, Schluyer, Brown and Pickman) with a suddenly perfect record for defending his clients. (*cough* ABUSE OF MUTATION POWER *cough*) Then the news of Task Force X reached his ears, and he bailed out on his life of high pay and poker nights to fight for humanity...

Personality: Graham is one of those irritatingly smug people you just love to hate. He tends to be constantly on the lookout for weaknesses in everyone, even though he'd never backstab his teammates. Well, not intentionally, anyway.

Gender: Female

Mutation: She has a mixed human/feline dna. This gives her the advantages of a big cat: superior agility and the ability to sense movement around her. The disadvantage to her mutation is that sometimes she can get a little carried away when fighting and is very territorial.
Appearance: About 6"0 and has a slight build. She has yellow eyes and lots of silver whispy hair. She also has fangs. She tends to lean towards the more functional clothing for her mutation: tank tops and baggier jeans.
Bio: Jade always loved a challenge. One day she heard about the mutation project and applied, hoping that whatever mutation she got would help her acheive out of her dull and usual life.
Personality: Generally laid back, but serious when working. She gets protective of her friends, especially when they are in danger. However, she likes to crack jokes, and loves to take risks, knowing that her powers will keep her from getting too hurt.
