I think that the RP could use one of these.
May I ask what precisely is a "Delayed Fireball?"
I'd like to know what I'm dealing with here.
Thanx :)

a delayed fireball is like a timebomb. sometimes they can be enchanted to work like the Rune spell on WCII effectively making them a landmine

Ah, thank you. I wasn't sure if it was a landminish thing, or if it was just a really slow moving fireball, or a fireball that kills you about five minutes after it hit you.
Edit:Continual Light: how intense is the light generated? On a scale from one(Darkness) to 10 (sunlight)
(moonlight being about 7)

I dont know if vampires can be harmed by continual light. I might be wrong but I thought it didn't count as sunlight because I know a normal light spell can't.

Cat, Your character is still fighting in the tower of the Fortress I believe. What happened was that my character got away from Jaguar's, and then killed a great many of the undead that were swarming the fortress. a crapload of the undead that survived started chasing me through the town, while Joseph Pandora's character was evacuating the fortress that you are attacking. Joe got most of the people out, but those that are still in direct combat with the Undead, as well as a few stragglers, are still within the fortress that you are attacking.

If its not sunlight, i think it just stuns them, like a drow on the surface during noon (for my forgoten realms fans).

OK, people. Because of the obvious fact that the sides are overbalance, I've decreed that evil people can make a good character and good people can make an evil character. If you want to make one, post them on the sign-up thread.

I can understand the evil making good characters, but the good making evil characters will just lead to the evil keeping it's advantage.
And yeah, it seems that me and Joe are the only good (Meaning virtuous) characters actively partaking in this RP.

I think the sides are fine. Dangerous things like double charicters can lead to RP deaths.

If everyone has one of each, the sides balance out.

Feel free to draw up a new good guy, I'm just too lazy to take on control of 5 different characters in only 3 RP's. (1 in War of Forces, 2 in Roleplaying Story, and a possible 2 in Undead Onslaught.)
And when every person has two characters, The sheer number of PC's can make things confusing.

I see. I'm thinking of making a Death Knight who pretends to help Thaddeus but is using the minotaur to expand his own goals. This technically makes him good (since he's opposed to the undead), but not exactly.

Sounds intriguing. *lifts eyebrow*
Sort of an evil being used to destroy another evil. I say go for it, with just Me, Bombshell and Joe being the good guys who are fighting against not only Playable Characters, but an entire army of NPCs.

If need be I can play a good character as well, but as things stand Necros is there to gain power. He'll turn on the undead for the human side the moment it becomes worth the risks, or if I get the chance I'll make Necros into a third force more concerned with keeping the human population vibrant while taking what he needs.

and my undead drow is evil, but the giant is basically trying to kill Thaddeus and all of Thaddeus' most trusted lieutenants. After that he plans on laying low for a while, just rebuilding his necromantic power and his army, he's even more power hungry than Necros, whom Thaddeus saved from the Giant by interrupting Necros in the Nether.
Zorshnal

....You have no idea how power hungry he is. He has tasted the kind of power everybody else wants, so now he is addicted to it and is willing to do anything to reclaim it. But one thing I will say, a power struggle between Necros and the drow will happen.
dementedmongoose

Not likely. See, Tarnath only wants to kill his grandfather, and retake his army, he couldn't care less about Necros. Now the necromancer, he's power hungry, that's why he wanted Necros' body, since the Nether is basically just a soul dump, and you have a lot of time in the Nether to tell your story, and the giant heard about Necros, which is why he agreed to help you, he literally wanted your body, and your mind.

My death knight will stop Tarnath. I plan to post him on the Sign-Up Thread now.

Possession takes a stronger will, Necros is no push over. Necros is putting up an act of being completely weak, if you've ever read the Coldfire trilogy you'd have an idea of what he's like. You know, between what power this other guy has and my concept of Necros Willpower lets just say this...
Your guy: Currently stronger in magical might and all.
Necros: Stronger willpower
Agreed?

Chograth spent a lot of time in your brain, he saw what it would take to capture you, and he realized he didn't have it, but he could trap you in the stone, like he did his grandson.
Zorshnal
06-23-2004, 10:29 PM
I'll agree to that, but I won't agree that he saw what Necros treasures the most. I will agree that he saw some of the memories though, though nothing detailed. While Necros saw something similar, knows what he planned, but didn't care because he knew whose will was stronger and knows what your guys is capable of, and Necros can see that he doesn't have the power to defeat your guy yet.
Have any problems with that?

not a one, because I plan on Killing him, or turning him good.

Anybody mind if I have Necros leave the immediate area? If I have him go off to regain some of his power on his own while everybody else cleans up the current area.

No problem. Just don't get too powerful.
Zorshnal
07-04-2004, 05:09 PM
Most of his power is tied up in the Ice Revenants being connected to him, two thirds of it to be exact. Most of the power he'll get will be support abilities or allowing him to improve his spells somehow, some misc. abilities as well. Plus I plan on having him raise his own army of undead. Nothing overwhelmingly powerful unless someone gives me the chance to revive the Ice Revenants. Then its checkmate.
No problems, alrighty then, I'll start thinking on what I'll do.
