How far can a vampire jump when in human form?

Well, let's say that the average Human Hunter can jump 4 feet if needed. A vamp, due to their increased strength but small frame, can jump twice that in human form, thus 8 feet.

Can enhanced Detect Evil be used for our current situation (which hallway...I dunno, smells eviler or whatnot) or only interrogation close style?

Enhanced Detect Evil works at a distance... On Biological Targets... Thus, Robots and Traps are still undetectable, but evil that is Living or Undead is detected from a distance. In fact, I'll include that in the next post...
