All I have to say is that if your economic manifesto was published in 1776 you really need to reconsider a few things. Like I always joke about economists and financemen wanking off to Adam Smith but I never thought they actually did it.

As mentioned in the comments section of the Tiny Revolution article, the argument could easily be made that workers in other countries are underpaid, not that Americans are overpaid, and that the emphasis should be on increasing quality of life and wages in developing countries instead of saying that Americans are doing too well, a rather ridiculous assertion.

Also I'm sure the average economist is paid too much according to how much real additive they create to the GDP in comparison to, oh, a welder.
