Just found this excellent chart, that might put some new shows onto your radar. It's huge, so i won't write much right now... see if anything picks your interest.

There are some that have my interest already, for sure. But screw them -- Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Yes please.

The summary of Queen's Blade seriously sounds like a poorly written fanfic written by a 12 year old. THere is something uniquely terrible about its grammar and sentence structure that I wish to emulate.

That, and the fact it's pretty much going to be filled with scantly clad girls that bounce whenever they move makes it all that more awesome of a summary.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms could be good though. Maybe, Other then that there is no Mecha one :(

I think you mean naked girls. And tentacles.

Maybe I'm just picky, but looking at that big long list I didn't really see anything that appealed to me.

That thing called TO looks like it could be interesting but I have no idea what it is and what it's about. Just a guy in a space suit posed dramatically with fighters or space ships flying by and explosions!

Eh, I might check out Natsu no Arashi 2 on account of it being a SHAFT production. But does that mean there was a Natsu no Arashi 1, or is the 2 on account of them going back to World War II? I DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Did anyone else notice the last entry? They are remaking Stitch as an anime! What the hell?

Well, if Disney stole the Lion King, why can't anime steal Lilo and Stitch?

I gotta be the guy to do it?

I mean, God, yeah that show sounds dumb, but when you're competing against motherfucking Queen's Blade for how stupid a show can be books being crystallized dead people and the main character having a bomb put in his chest can't even compete.

I am disappointed in the lack of trap and mecha. Why can't we have a trap mecha show or something?

Tieria Erde confused the anime world enough to cause a Trap lock down until 2010

And, yeah, i'm totally watching the Stitch anime stuff.

I'm really glad i found this list. It was totally on luck, but it has premiere dates and everything, and it tells me when to start avoiding Armed Librarians. Double win!

I wanted to make some snide comment about how, "Oh yay it will be Lilo and Stitch only instead of surfing Stitch will be fumbling clumsily with chopsticks blah" but then I realized that sounds totally great and I might have to check it out.

Ah good they are launching a Tamagotchis anime.

Only 13 years after anybody gave a junk.

Hey, I was going to show this off to my girlfriend. She's a librarian and might get a kick out of it like she did Library Wars (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php?id=8951).

I refuse to click on that link for fear of having my image of Library Wars, Where Bookworms and Brains get together in a Junkyard-Wars style competition to build a device/vehicle themed around a particular work of lit. OUT OF SCAVENGED BOOKS and then pit them Head-to-Head, shattered completely

Also, I just got a really great idea for a TV show

I was sure armed librarians was going to be awesome until I got to the part where books aren't actually books. So dissapointing.

That said: a popular high school honors student with a secret she dares not reveal to anyone - that she is in love with her classmate Ushio. Sumika hears that Ushio is like her, "a girl who likes girls," but Sumika's feelings have yet to be reciprocated. Is either going to be really good or suicide awful.

I would totally watch that!

If anyone can find anything about that anime titled TO i'll give them a cookie!

Sorry, it's about a covert group of librarians who fight against an oppressive government hell-bent on controlling all information. Apparently if they find some rare or obscure book that the government doesn't want people to read they can take it and fight their way tooth and nail back to their library-base where it is then considered safe through some agreement or act of law or something.

The first episode starts out with some soldiers busting into a book store to bag some books and then a guy shows up guns blazing to save a romance novel.

Tentai Senshi Sunred looks interesting. I'll probably never see it (Seriously, I don't even know how one would go about this, hint hint wink wink FIFTH STOP READING MY PMs (That lower-case "s" was put there to avoid PMS jokes)), but the idea of the hero now being a slob while his arch-nemesiseses are the ones helping out the community makes me giggle.

Yumiero Patissiere reminds me that I've never seen A Little Snow Fairy Sugar, something that looked so adorable I've been wanting to watch it since forever. I may end up watching both.

There was totally already a Romance of the Three Kingdoms anime. I remember hating it for being a bad early 80s anime (I think it was early 80s). Maybe this one will be good, but I won't bother watching it unless I hear people calling it's name from the highest heavens.

Also, it appears Frogman has made an anime, Secret Society Eagle Talon Showdown. Taking bets on whether or not BUTTSPRESSO gets mentioned! (Hey, the thread was closed before I got there. I just wanted in on the fun >.>)

I saw a trailer for Seiken no Blacksmith on youtube last week, looked like some nice traditional fantasy. I'll probably give that a shot, since the last straight-up fantasy series I watched was Slayers and I want to get the taste out of my brain.

Also, OMG THEY'RE FINISHING INUYASHA AND WE GET INUYASHA BABIES SQUEE! Not sure how they plan to fit the remaining volumes into one season, and I'm not going to watch it (probably), but I just thought it bore remarking on.

actually that sounds abit like ROD. And sounding like ROD is never a bad thing

actually that sounds abit like ROD. And sounding like ROD is never a bad thingNo it doesn't. R.O.D. was about a library special ops team that collected rare books to keep some psychotic madman from bringing back the worlds geniuses as villains and causing everyone to commit suicide through music. Also everyone had super powers.....well except for the guy, he had guns. R.O.D. felt like a Bond movie only better.

That 'Stitch' thing looks awesome but seriously, what is Japan's problem with Hawaii?

You mean why would they change something to to make it appeal to their culture when airing it on TV? Hrmmmm...

I've looked into the Kampfer manga, and actually found it pretty enjoyable. Apparently it's got some kinda novel series going on too I don't know but I'm looking forward to it.

It's actually totally that, and funny as hell at times. The main "villain" boss guy is actually a pushover, while Sunred comes off as a jerk. Like, the boss dude helped Sunred's girlfriend clean their apartment while Sunred sat and watched tv.

Well I mean, there's at least some anime that takes place outside of Japan, and there's not an unnoticeable Japanese population in Hawaii.

Someone has to pay attention to that state, and it's sure not gonna be me!

Fairy Tail caught my attention merely with the fist of flame. I like mysticism, so it seems like something I'd give a go.
