Green Latern: First Flight - We just watched this and, well, I guess underwhelming is the word.
What I don't understand is how, after Batman:TAS, Superman:TAS, Justice League, JLU, and Batman: Gotham Knight, DC comes up with this entire line of stinkers.
Superman/Doomsday was garbage, Justice League: New Frontier was a great comic but a terrible movie. Wonder Woman was enjoyable but only becuase of Nathon Fillion's wise-cracking and really good animation, and then this Green Latern flick totally removed any character or personality from Hal Jordan. It was fun to watch but it was like watching an episode of 'green Latern, the animated series' not an origin story with actual character development.

Huh, I'd heard that First Flight was pretty good, but then again I heard it from the same people who think Batman: The Brave and The Bold is a totally awesome show so maybe that has something to do with it.
In any case, Guy Gardner needs his own show.

Don't get me wrong when a guy grabs two moons and bascially uses them to smash the tar out of, well, anything, I'm glued to my seat. I just thought it would be cool if they took the 'Hal Jordan: Drunk Driver and best-friend killer' approach. Like if they had mixed the GL stories from New Frontier and this movie, even that would have been better.

Does anyone know if Superman/Batman: Public Enemies is any good? I mean, it has Kevin Conroy in it so that's a definite plus...
They seriously need to do another Batman series similar to the nineties one with Kevin Conroy again. I didn't like The Batman very much and Batman: Brave and the Bold is just bad in my opinion.
Or do another season of Justice League Unlimited at the least.

Forget that, we need more Batman Beyond love.

Personally, I don't rate First Flight nearly as poorly. Sure, I wouldn't say its worth any more than a rental, (unless you're really into the Justice League universe,) but it wasn't horrible. Yes, the ending was a bit over the top, with the Yellow ring being way too powerful & Hal being the only one who could stop it was a tad too cliche.
However, the ride up to that point was pretty decent. Nothing spectacular, but at least up to bar set by the majority of Justice League episodes.
