Wolverine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lyy-KBFvKPg&fmt=18): Japanese Demons and the Attack of Super Mullet
Iron Man (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_ej7ZlS2oQ&fmt=18): I don't really know Iron Man so I don't have any smartass comments about how it's bastardizing the source material.

On the one hand, it's MadHouse.
On the other hand, I don't like Marvel to begin with.
Did anyone watch their Batman adaptation? Was that any good?
EDIT: Now this is a great adaptation of X-Men: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfjAbXrvkFw&fmt=18

Honestly Iron Man slides pretty easily into a generalized 'anime' context. Fuck he's basically an anime character already, all you need to add is the ten story tall Iron Mecha I have every expectation will turn up in this thing.
As far as Wolverine goes I can say in all earnest that this is the best thing that's been done with Wolverine in decades and I fully support this direction for the character.

You seem to be confused. This is obviously a trailer for Inuyasha.

I can't remember what story(line), but I do believe Iron Man did have a huge robot. Might have been in one of the other alternate dimensions, though.
Or maybe even in the Marvel Mangaverse, shit I don't know.
It also looks like they're taking a few cues from the movie(s), though I'm not a huge Iron Man fan, so I have no idea if he's always had flares or not.
Also, I fully agree on Wolverine. He's always been "the best at what he does, and what he does isn't pretty".
Hopefully, this'll make the character fresh again, even if it'll never carry over to the comics. Of course, we haven't seen anything about the character itself. Just the design.
For all we know, it's gonna be Japanese pretty boy combined with same old Wolverine. Which is, well... interesting, of course. But pretty horrible too.

That's the downside of this Iron Man anime. It's just going to be another 'Everyone has a robot suit' anime, like Gundam or Zone of Enders.

Nah, that ain't Inuyasha.
That's the mutant from Vampire Hunter D with the reality warping powers.
Observe! At about 2 and a half minutes in (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sU2UOLb6iI8&feature=related).
Sure he's let the hair grow out a bit, but I'm pretty sure it's him.

actually it felt more like Detonator Orgun for me...
As for wolverine, well, He "fits" on the Anime style of things (as does Batman, for example) but it's all about what they plan on doing with his personality...

Let's just be Glad that he doesn't have Mastah Cheifu Paunch...
I'm just glad they are actually admitting to make ANIME with their characters instead of going "It's american animation inspired by western standards"...

Honestly this is how I assumed Wolverine spent most of his time while he was in Japan. And is it just me or do his claws look weird. Looks like he's holding them between his fingers

but isn't it already an "everyone has a robot suit" comic?

I've said nothing to the contrary.
In fact I'd be angry if there wasn't one.

I can see the Wolverine show at least bringing something new to the table. I mean, Wolverine already had a comic drawn by a manga artist: Snikt! (http://marvel.com/digitalcomics/titles/WOLVERINE~colon~_SNIKT!.2003) I think it would be a nice way to bring him onto tv tailored to a more mature audience (not that Wolverine and the X-Men is a bad show, just more kid-centered IMO). They're getting kind of washed out in the comics in terms of freshening his story (he has a clone, he has a kid...), so this might be a nice change of pace.
As for Iron Man...Well, unfortunately as it was said, Iron Man seems like it will fall into that "anime mecha suit" type of show. But then again, has there really been a decent Iron Man cartoon? I mean, the original Fox show was merely ok, having been canceled after a crappy second season, and the CGI show really looks like it's really for the kids (a teenage Tony Stark? Really?). Maybe this new anime-esque show will bring Iron Man back into the limelight.
