Wow what a fantastic show. Why do I have a thing for shows that Fox cancels?

Cause Fox tends to cancel awesome things?
Man I was JUST thinking about this show, because The Final Countdown popped up on one of the radio stations in Saints Row 2. Had a mad urge to take my character the plastic surgeons and make him look like Gob.
Got to get a boxset of it.

The entire run is on Hulu. This makes me happy.

I never got into Arrested Development. I just found the entire cast aggravating; even the ones I'm pretty sure I was supposed to like.

You were supposed to like some of them?

This.
It seems anyone I talk to about this show who has a favorite character loves said character for being stupid, pathetic, idiotic, an utter toolbox, and/or a horrible person.
That being said, I do love Buster and George Michael. :o

I'm in the middle of watching right now and I have to say that I love it. Magician Man (G.O.B.?) is my favorite so far.
One thing I don't get is why its cancellation still stings for some however. It got 3 seasons which is more than you can say for a lot of shows. I say be glad it was around for as long as it was.

It stings because Arrested Development was/still is the best goddamn TV comedy in the history of forever. If any live-action television show deserved a Simpsons-esque eternal run, it was Arrested Development.
Also, every character was amazing. Like my second favorite comedy (It's Always Sunny...) the entire point for every character in AD is that they're supposed to have terrible traits. Even Michael, the supposed 'normal guy' stuck in the midst of the insanity, has his bouts with arrogance and indecisiveness. For some reason, it's the characters that are most ludicrously flawed, weak and immoral that I tend to like most on television. I adore the casts of Arrested Development and It's Always Sunny for their flagrant stupidity and their massive egos, and I can't say the same about most other comedies with relatively 'normal' casts.
EDIT: I just realized this also explains my deep love for 8BT.

I loved AD mostly for the way they delivered the jokes: fast, out of nowhere and not afraid to call back to older episodes. They never let you think that there was a joke there, you just have to know it is. I really want other shows to do that.
