Who are your favorite d&d characters? Do you have an unforgettable hero? Did you meet a memorable NPC? Post them in here!

As for mine, my favorite character is my 6rog/6asa. I took the expertise and flick-of-the-wrist feats, so I can do my sneak damage on the first round of EVERY combat. And he's just a cool guy. He could be the leader of the guild, but he doesn't want to be that involved. He owns a castle (he went in on the castle with three other characters, who later died. And no, I did not kill them.) Every night he comes home to some sweet elf loving (he's a human).

As for NPC's: Sparky, the 1/2 dragon rogue. Sparky inherited the draconic aging from his father. His actual age is unknown, probably somewhere in the 100 year range, but he looks like a ten-year-old boy. Hilarity ensues whenever he tries to order a drink, or for that matter, hire adventurers. He's pretty much given up on buying drinks, he just steals whatever the party is drinking. He's lovable, though. The party even posted bail for him after a bar brawl got him thrown into the drunk tank.

My level 18 Human Bard Locke.
He is in the early twenties, but seems to act as a 16 year old school boy, but when it comes to the point he sharpens up and is always by his comrades side. He has a slight drinking problem and spends waaay to much on the mead and ale in the taverns. He also has a enourmous fear of spiders which makes dungeon explorations hilarious. For the moment he is sobing for the loss of his group after a dragon killed them and that he murdured the female half orc fighter.

Agreed! Minsc is teh shit. And definatly worth having the entire game. Overall though, my favourite D&D charater is someone that my DM played in a group. I dont remember what his name was, but this guy was a level 30 wizard like (he mutliclassed) guy who knew 11th level spells becuase he stole the power of a God from some book he found in a pawn shoppe. God you have to love luck rolls. (btw, this was a power group. All the guys in that group were pimped out)

Power of a God in a Pawn shop? And here all I thought all they sold was low budget porn and VCRs.

lol... no he found a book that (if he deciphered it) would allow him to "steal" the powers of any god

One of our current parties has a pimpin' tank...

We had a spider monkey rogue once, and I had a dwarf who rolled poorly with his two axes, so we said that he could fly.

My favorite villain-type guy was called Mortenakenaiesosis. He was a lich, and was eventually turned into bacon. We also found his name as a disease.

I liked the duo of Xzar and Montaron. Hearing Xzar abuse Montaron was hilarious.
