IHMN: You wanna make a new character? That depends on what kind of character you want. A WHOLE new one or just a revamp on the one you have now?

As in Sang leaves because A) He is not a chosen one, he just got mixed up into this, B) He's a coward and can't fight and I rather make up a new character then completely change after 6 chapters. Then I make a new character, not a revamped Sang.

If I can't, I'll probably just take Sang out and drop out of the RP.

I would say all but the summoner would be fine with me. Go ahead and make a profile for your new character, and if you want the character to run into the group, their next destination is Prontera. So you could meet them on their way there, or when they get there, depending on how long it will take them to get there.

EDIT: And I know exactly how to get Sang out of the story. ^^ it works perfectly.

And I'll make the next chapter tomorrow, since I don't have a lot of time tonight, also, I'll assume everyone at least agreed to leave Fayon.

Just be aware that Meth is the resident black mage, so you won't be your own "unique" class, but perhaps it would still be alright. You would be quite a bit worse than Meth, but you wouldn't be as senile. So you both balance each other out a bit. (Which means you guys would probably have to get along ^^ )

Ahh, so you would be playing the young novice mage that doesn't know anything about magery, and has hunted down and is trying to learn from the master...

And didn't Celes nix the summoner idea?

Oh no, my guy is good, just when he mets the 'master', he will revert back to his apprentice stages a little every now and then. At the beginning of the fight he would be shooting water and ice everywhere, but then he notices Meth is using meat, so he assumes that meat is somoehow good against lizards, so he stops fighting to take notes and observe.

Meeting Meth would be random too. No hunting down.

Heheh. Valkyrie's use magic, right? I've got a couple ideas on how to handle Sara next time.

Plan: Sara uses that uber spirit ball thingie attack on us. Truce uses runic. He might go insane, but at that point it won't matter, she should be surprised enough for the others to go and attack her at point blank (if they're melee warriors).

Plan B: First, Truce gets really beat up, then one of the guys throws him at Sara, then if he touches Sara he uses the Shock ability. Not that it can't be used at long range, but it will be more effective that way. (Plus, the long range version of the spell is something that CJ would not want Sara to be the target of.)

PS-Where exactly are we at at this time in the RP. Are we jumping ahead?

Well, apparently the Black Mage has been approved by Jad, so now which character should I use?

A) White Mage/Healer/Fire magic (Mainly used to cauterize wounds).

B) The up and coming black mage who just happens to think Meth is some sort of magic god.

C) An archer (For a basic class, this is almost never used), possibly with some arrow type magic (Or magic bow).

Why would a White Mage use fire to cauterize wounds? Why doesn't he just use Heal? I could understand if all he had left were the fire spells, but why bother to memorize a fire spell at all? Just memorize the Heal spell instead.

I prefer the idea of White Magic just accelerates the rate of healing and antibodies and such.

I'd go archer on the basis that a flying Valkyrie can be hit by Darilk's Dark Wave, maybe a javelin (depending on how high she is), or one of Meth's odd spells right now. Everyone else just has to hope she'll land...

And we already have a mage... even if he is senile and crazy.

So far, Meth has only shown more of a enhancement/support side of his (Haste, Darkness, Group Teleport). Either that is how Jad wants him to be, or he just hasn't used any attack type spells...

And we already have a ranged guy to (The javalin guy, sorta...).

I personally think it would be cool to see IHMN to a character that idolizes Meth, but any of those other things would work just as well... now... time for me to make the next chapter.

IHMN, can I take sang out at any time now, since you are making a new character, or do you want to wait until you finish your old character?

Since I am unable to decide on a character, I made a bio for each... Some one else pick.

Class: Black Mage
Equipment: Robes, big spell book/note book, magical pen that never runs out of ink, a magic ring.
Bio: _____ was naturally gifted in the arts of the dark magics, and was noticed by a wizard. The wizard talked his parents into sending the boy into training with himself and other wizards and mages, and _____’s parent’s accepted. Will training, ____ always heard stories of Methusaleh Thorson, a powerful red wizard. However, most of _____’s superiors would laugh when _____ mentioned Meth (Assuming he has been senile since at least age 100). Being some what naïve, ____ still believed some of the stories he heard and read anyway. Eventually he left the school to travel.
Extra Notes: Pen is to write down notes in the empty pages, ring is how he refills it.

At the age of 20, _____ left the village since the life of a hunter/farmer bored him, and he stole the bow. He has been living in Prontera for about 4 months now, making money any way he can.
Extra Notes: The knife is for wilting sticks into arrows.

I would say it's closed, but if you would join, you would most likely have to wait until we get to Prontera, which is fairly far off, and I don't know how I'm going to work your character in (I'm having a hard enough time working IHMN's character in, I can get rid of his old one, no problem, but getting one in...) So if you still want to be in it after waiting for a few chapters or so, you might be able to make a new character to join in with.

Edit - And "Appears 27", "Appears to be human"... Just say he is human instead of trying to make up things (That, and you have to be). As for the equipment, don't be suprised if you don't find any of the other 7 pieces.

The reason he "appears to be human" is because he's the (great x 10) grandson of Thor. But they're not on speaking terms.

The name "Will" always seemed to fit for an archer type. I'm not really sure why, though. You could always just jumble random letters together and see what comes out.

Then their home, the cave, would be empty, and safe to traverse until they return. Unless the creatures live all the time in the cave, and only happen to be active during the night. I think that Cj's going towards the latter, but I think that the former actually makes more sense, until we get deep into the cave.

Chaos was very engrossed with his manga. So much so, that he was unaware of anything that happened for the past two~three days. Either that, or the hay thing. That would be amusing.

The party returned to Fayon
Fayon was promptly attacked by Sara Irine, the insane valkyrie
Fenris(Cj's main character) joined up with us
Fayon's rulers were killed
Sara annihilated the bridge between Fayon and the rest of the world, along with some of the city itself
We began climbing down the ravine/cliff that said bridge went over, and we are at the entrance to a cave at the bottom, which splits off in two directions. This cave apperantly has only one monster, Grendel.

I think that Lidia and Iris are still with us, but I'm not sure.

Just make him follow Lidia, since that would probably be easiest. It doesn't matter really exactly which way he goes. Just have him tag along. He'll be gone by the time they are very far out of the cave.

(EDIT: also- MANY apologies for moving the RP along so painstakingly slow, but at the moment, a decent (slowish) pace is something I need at the moment, personally. ^^ I hope you guys don't mind too much, if you do, I'll try and speed it up a bit if I can. I wouldn't normally make it go slow like this, but, sometimes things happen.)

Dante, maybe Chaos could run into the group the same time that IHMN's new character does perhaps. Maybe he got seperated from the group, and he met up with Will (IHMN's character) and then you both meet at the same time.

I know. Chaos got angry because we left him unconcious at a bar (well we did) and so he hires Will so that he can find us, so he can make sure we won't do anything stupid, like leave Lady Iris behind somewhere or something.

So... from the story of Beowulf we know that Grendel lived in a cave with it's mother... who was more powerful than Grendel.

I'm hoping that it doesn't hold true here, and that the worse smell isn't mommy...
