Last I remember is you dispelling the gnomes... so I'll recap from there.

Worm died.
Went to nearest city.
Thief named Lidia stole horn from Darilk.
Darilk gave chase followed by Chaos and Vace.
Lidia disappeared.
Celes told Dante where to find her so he could tell us however:
Darilk surmized that the only thing she could do with the horn is get a bounty.
Darilk Chaos and Vace headed to the bounty shop.
Chaos and Vace arrived first and tried to talk the horn out of Lidia.
Lidia was being uncooperative.
SS's guy (alchemist, can't remember his name right now) started trying to convince the bunty officer that Lidia's horn was fake.
Darilk arrived and immediately prepared to attack Lidia.
Chaos tried to calm Darilk down, but he wouldn't be swayed.
Lidia decided about then that being killed horribly would be BAD and tried to pass off the theft as carrying the thing away.
Darilk decided not to kill her as that it would cause more problems, and she gave the horn back anyway. (plus Celes wanted her alive).
Group decided that Lidia should be our pack mule.
Darilk made her promise not to steal and then told her that if she broke the promise he WOULD kill her, but he holds no ill will toward her so long as she keeps it.
We all went to the inn/bar.
Darilk, Iris, and maybe Vace (not sure) are sleeping. Others are in the bar.


Also: Lidia is apparently pretty hot, judging by the picture Celes posted.

Lazy: See if you can get Celes to let you buy some Asbestos gauntlets. They should be able to withstand the heat. Otherwise just start having your character buy leather gloves... he'd burn through a pair a fight, but at least his hands wouldn't be burn THAT badly every fight.

The latter. He will grow or shrink if needed, get fatter or skinnier, etc, etc. Though if he is absorbing something much bigger then him, he stops when his body starts to grow, otherwise he will rip his clothes apart and his left arm would be destroyed.

RWWID's little side story was in his bio. About how he's like... psychic... and his village is psychic, and his friend or brother or something was suppose to protect the gem that made them all psychic, and have this training thing where he guarded the gem alone for however long, and he went to visit and found his friend dead and the gem shattered, and the village blamed him, and he ran away to find it's twin gem, and this is one hell of a run on, and now I'm just typing because this sentence is really long and I feel like making it longer, and it's kinda fun because I'm breaking one of my old english teacher's most important rules, but I think I'm going to stop right now.

Repost: Before anyone mentions anything about Darilk being nice, he's doing it because
A) He's stronger, and thus it makes sense for him to carry the luggage now that they shouldn't have to worry about bandit attacks as much (in which he'd need his arms free to fight quickly)
And
B) Her quieting down would be good, as that her complaining is annoying Iris (and probably the others).

Funny, I had always thought that the point of Alchemy was eternal life, wealth, and youth. I had never thought of the words "honor" or "scruples" being connected to those shysters.

His little Alchemists medallion increases his powers so that he doesn't need any pentagrams.

Also, since he's fully trained, which took ALL TEN years (Not a week) even if he doesn't have it, he can still go withuot pentagrams, his work just isn't as good.

So, since you never got he full stuff, and don't have the medallion, you're about the equivalent of a first year student at your best.

Translation? Mommy, mommy, look! I turned some sand into this piece of metal! It took me five minutes, and about half an hour to draw the pentagram, but I did it!

Yes, he didn't do the medallion thing, but beyond that, he has all 10 years of training that Kal does. Problem is, in 1 minute a majority of those goes away. Memories stay though, so he is keeping the basics from Kal's mind until he can remember them himself.

What's the stop him from running up to some huge mage, poking him, then wiping him out of existance, then poking a knight, then killing him, then running around as some sort of super warrior.

And besides, you never said your character had the Alchemic gift. Not like the X-Men. It just means that their minds easily wrap around the way Alchemy works.


But....going back to topic. You absorbed 10 years of training, his power, and kept yourself sane all in one second? Even by what you yourself said in the sign-up, his head should've popped and splattered all over the wall.

Yes, 10 years in a second. First second absorbs the targets main power. He got Kal's Alchemy gift and abilities, as well as a small portain of his mind.

Also, poke mage = Ability to use magic, very little understanding of it. He tries to make a fireball, he makes a hotdog.

Poke knight = He will be as strong as the knight (Assuming that is his main thing), but the lack of armor and him never having been that strong before would let the Knight beat him (How would he poke a knight anyway? Full body armor makes that kinda hard)

On topic - He has the powers Kal got in 10 years, but no how to control it very well (Hence the bracelet). And how is Kal insane in any way? He's acted perfectly normal this entire time. And for his head to pop, he would have to hold onto an extremely insane person for 5 seconds, or absorb many normal people in a short amount of time.

That is the entire point of his ability. He is not very good at fighting. So, he has to grab someone or something stronger so he can use that to kill whatever is trying to kill him.

Also, I'm glad that Sang is hard to get revenge on by magical means... As long as can touch the person for 2-4 seconds, he can usually reverse whatever happened.

And don't get me wrong, humorous stuff is perfectly fine. But there is a very fine line between "humorous" and "Problematic." Revenge on any PC character for ANY reason is "problematic" (just a swift kick in the butt or something like that isn't that bad, but you should know what I mean.)

I swear. Just use common sense. If any of that ridiculous crap happens in this RP that happened in Perditions, I swear I will summon Nidhogg on your asses.

Sang is a slower Rogue. Rogue touches some one, they fall asleep. She then has all of their powers, memories, and control. Sang only get a fair share of the power at first, then gets a little more of the power and the memories (Usually which holds the control) over time.

I just realized how bad of an idea it would be for Sang to do a short absorb of Darilk... Since emotions = bad for Darilk, if he only absorbs a second or two of memory from Darilk, he would not know that...

If it was someone with a past/emotions like darilk
but if he allowed his emotions to show constantly, he'd be a walking ball of death. As in dark waves would be shooting off of him constantly... and then he'd die because he'd expend all of his energy like that.

If it was someone with more normal emotions, but without the ability to control them very well, it'd be like... a combination of a paladin and dark knight firing off abilities randomly. At first it would be ok, but then if someone pissed them off, a dark wave-esque thing would shoot off. If someone made them really happy everyone around them would get healed a little.

If it was a normal person who could mostly control their emotions it would be like having a weak paladin/dark knight with shitty control. They could mostly control when things went off, but they'd also have trouble controlling direction/power etc. And sometimes it'd fire without them meaning it to.

If it was a person with mostly light emotions uncontrolled they'd be like a paladin with their powers going off randomly.

Person with mostly light emotions but with normal control they'd be a weak paladin with shitty control.
