It was probably a while ago, but Suda 51 said there had been some talk about this becoming an actual anime, though he doesn't know how serious they were. I think it needs to happen. I demand cute moe girls piloting Glastonburies!

Anywho, he said if fans wanted to see it done, to email Marvelous and who knows? I know it won't happen, but what would this anime be like? What does it have to have?

This show is a parody of two things. Giant robot shows like Gundam, and magical girl shows like Sailor Moon. So, my thoughts are it needs Sailor Moon style transformation sequences with the robots forming around them like Sailor Moon's clothes magicked around her. Also, they need to yell every attack and have every attack be some sexual innuendo. Why? Because I'm immature and it makes me giggle.

Wasn't the idea of Pure White Giant Glastonberry (is that just the name of the arcade game? Should I be calling the show "Bizarre Jelly?") to mock moe stereotypes and the (in some peoples' eyes) disgusting otaku who worship moe? So, wouldn't the show be so over-the-top with fanservice and unnaturally high-pitched voices that it would make... I can't think of a show that hinges on moe that I've watched other than Hidamari Sketch...

Anyway, what I'm getting at is otaku would eat it up. Suda's sitting on a gold mine.
