Why wasn't I told how awesome this show is? I'm about to finish it tonight, and it is nothing like I ever expected from an anime. It is also sad. So very, very sad.
Kinda spoilers: I love how it keeps getting you excited to see what's up with his arm and find out more about his "monstrous body" but never shows anything, and your anticipation just keeps building up more and more. I'm not expecting OMG EPIC, but just finding out more is getting me excited.

Wait, what?
Kurenai: A story about a high school dispute mediator who suddenly is charged with the task of taking care of a seven-year old girl. Not as creepy as it sounds. It actually is a very interesting tale about family and the character relationships are outstanding. Plus, the animation is gorgeous.
Kurenai: Nothing more to add beyond what was said already. This anime is great.
Kurenai 9 was interesting, predictable, and oh so pedotastic.
There better damn well be a second season of Kurenai, because I need more than one-and-a-half episodes of badass in my viewing pleasure.
Despite my total love for the OP, I absolutely hate seeing kids getting screwed over. Which is why I hope for some utter badassness in Kurenai 11. Because 9 and 10 were breaking my heart.
What? I'd say the ending to episode 10 was rather uplifting. I mean, come on, any episode that ends on this note:

(If I could photoshop a purple hat and a pimp cane on Shinkurou, I totally would have...
.... Has got to be a good ending, right? :D
-Kurenai. I didn't put it in the title for no reason. Awesome series that makes you feel warm and cozy.

Kurenai 12 makes me happy. Oh so very happy.
I left out some of the more spoilery mentions.

If it means anything, the manga goes beyond what is not explained in the anime.
I hope they adapt the rest one day. Episode six was my favourite. I wuv musicals. I was sad when I found out the version in the OST did not have the lyrics, though. :(

If I didn't read it or can't remember reading it, it doesn't count. (I have the memory of a goldfish...)
I figured you guys probably had talked about it, what with how good it is, but like I said, bad memory... So bad...
I do wish I had started watching this show sooner though. Episode 10 ended on a note that made me smile and laugh like I don't recall doing for other shows.

It was very good and I'm glad I watched it. Strange, funny, and heartbreaking... Oh wait, I think that's taken... Anywho, great show and I recommend it to anyone who needs something to watch.
