CAKE, which I've only recently started listening to because I'm a heathen, is so fucking awesome its not even funny.

Every song I've found (About twenty so far) is awesome. The music is so soothing...It just makes me want to close my eyes and drift back and forth in rhythm to it. Makes me a bit sleepy, but in a good way.

Also, before anyone else makes the Portal joke, me and my friend, who sort of introduced me to CAKE, had the idea to make a parody band of CAKE and call it LIE. The songs would be completely opposite, heavy but with the exact same lyrics and such.

I had heard quite a few of these songs (Short skirt long jacket,I will survive, The Distance [Especially The Distance], etc)

Anyone else like CAKE?

...Or are you all heathens?

Seriously, many of these songs almost bring a tear to my eye...

Cake is one of my personal favorite bands.
