As the title says, this RP will be based on RTS type missions like those in Blizzard games. I will draw a map of the area, tell you what supplies you have to choose from or have, how many forces you have or can pick, and what you have to do.

You will have your main character, who is either a leader or a grunt, and you will command NPC units if I need them to be there.

But before I make a sign up and such, I want to do a poll on to what genre this will be.

Either futuristic, ala Star Craft, or fantasy, ala War Craft.

After people have actually cared/payed attention I will edit in the details. (I have them both thought up and need to be typed)

Edit - Oh, I forgot to ask this. Would you rather all be on the same team, or different teams? You'll have to post your answer.

Edit 2 - Examples of a mission for each.

Fantasy - You will be in a forest surronded by mountains. Enemy reinforcements are expected to come through the mountain pass you are stationed at. You have 200 fighters, 100 mages, and 100 archers, along 30 workers. You have all the wood you need, but limited amounts of stone. A defense has to be built to prevent the reinforcements from reaching the enemies main army.

Sci-Fi - You and a squad of 30 other units are on a mission to find and destroy a hidden base in the ruins of a city on some planet. You were allowed to choose your weapons and armor before the mission, as wellas the NPC characters to come along with you. Once you are dropped oin the planet, you cannot come back for a week. You have supplies to last a month. The planet is hsa not been searched and not much is known about it.

I say fantasy. Easier to deal with. I honestly don't care who's on which team.

When I come on tomorrow, I will edit the first post based on the poll/any post.

If the poll is low on votes and very little post, then I declare this dead and give up on starting RPs myself.

Futuristic. Gives me a wider range of technology and abilities and the like. And I would think different teams would be good, but unless you have really detailed stats, then that won't be a good idea.
