I'd ask if anyone was excited about this coming Sunday's Season 3 Premiere, but I don't think I'll have to since (1) if you know about Venture Bros. you're already stoked and (2) if you don't know about Venture Bros. I want nothing to do with your skanky raggedy ass.

And who would, with all that clicking once ever and watching your 15 minute TV show? What a damned hassle. Waiting the entire weekend for something you could watch right fucking now is definitely the better idea.

I have to say, Adult Swim's browser player is by far the smoothest and most reliable player I've seen. I watched the episode with just the inter segment jumps, and two 10, 5 second buffering stops in the middle of the longer portions.

Now, while the new episode isn't the strongest episode, I found it rather entertaining, and it does show us more glimpses into the workings of some of the forces in the world of The Venture Bros. I've heard from someone who works at World Leaders entertainment that there are some absolutely great episodes coming up, so there's pleanty to look forward to over the next 13 weekends.

Also, I don't call this a nerd forum. I call it "That place with the people that annoy me slightly less than other places tend to post". Also, The Venture Bros. is far too cool and awesome to be Nerd domain anyway.

We have a Star Wars thread. That's nerd domian.

I never really got into the show. One of the episodes I found entertaining, though, was Brock - naked - riding a pink dolphin to a giant naked lady in the clouds.

Ya know, I think that's my second favorite thing about the show (of course, the first thing usually changes depending on which episode I watched last). I just really like that Adult Swim has a show that has something to actually follow, instead of just jokes from earlier episodes that get repeated (although Jackson Publick and the writers totally do that part well too).
Also, The Venture Bros. is far too cool and awesome to be Nerd domain anyway.
I wasn't really trying to imply that the Nerd spectrum is removed from the Awesome spectrum, as many things I consider awesome I also acknowledge as nerdy. Having said that, Venture Brothers is totally a nerdy show, and I don't think it's demeaning if I point out that fact.

As much as I like Venture Bros, some sequences are SO unbearable that I just can't watch it. And even the ones that ARE bearable, I can't watch with other people in the room. I just can't; my family doesn't have the same sense of humor as me, and I feel bad laughing at the jokes that they don't get.

That episode with the double dates? I seriously couldn't watch past Orpheus' daughter and her friend showing up at the diner. Something about how Hank and Dean act sometimes just makes me visibly squirm, and I have to change the channel.

Other episodes were great. The episode where Monarch and Dr. Girlfriend are sitting in front of the Guild leaders, and the episode consists mostly of flashback sequences? Awesome.

All in all, Venture Bros is good, and I'm going to keep watching it.
