It's been a while since I've seen a House thread, and the season finale just aired where I am. Seems like a good time to talk about it.

I'll admit, I was completely in denial until after the show was over. I was sure that Amber would be saved. House would wake up from his coma, save the day, and things would be good again.

...if you've already seen the show, though, that's not how things went.

Still, it's amusing to see all of their reactions, especially after they all said goodbye. Foreman and Kutner didn't seem to affected by it, but it certainly changes the dynamics between House and Wilson, which has been more or less stable throughout the series. There's also Taub, whose wife we finally see, and Thirteen.

...out of all the characters, Thirteen is probably the least interesting in this episode. Even Kutner, sitting at home, watching tv while eating cereal, was more amusing to watch than finding out that she did have Huntington's disease.

Okay, first off, Why spoiler color the spoiler text INSIDE of the spoiler box? That's annoyingly redundant.

Anyway, I would definately have to say that this two part episode ("House's Head" and "Wilson's Heart") were easily the best episodes in the entire series.

I liked these episodes well enough, but one thing stayed with me after watching the finale -- why why why did they have Chase doing the electrical stimulation on House's brain? Foreman's the neurologist; why not him?

Offhand, did they ever establish when House actually saw the rash on Amber's back? All I remember is when they brought it up, House suggested she bent over at some point, but I don't remember it from the final establishing hallucination-memories.

Yes it is.
