I'm going to steal one of the central gimmicks of TinyMixTapes for a should-be fun forum exercise.
Basically, I post a general idea for a music playlist, and the forumites create a five song playlist that fits that idea. The ideas can be simple and direct (driving to work playlist, make out playlist, etc.) or deal with frames of mind ('bored', 'should be doing school work but instead am trolling through digg, etc) or whatever else you might want a playlist for.
Song choice is entirely up to the entrants. Maybe the song titles do most of the heavy lifting(offering 'Achey Breaky Heart' for a 'breakup playlist' for example), or maybe the lyrics or rhythm of the song apply (although Youtube links or some method of letting us listen to the songs would probably be helpful in getting the point across for actual substance).
Five people post their five song playlist submissions, and the person who offered the playlist idea picks his favorite set. The winning poster gets to offer a playlist idea, whereby five people compose more playlists and the cycle continues.
I'll naturally start off.
Help Me Make a Driving Back to College Playlist.
