If you've ever seen the Beatles' film Magical Mystery Tour, you might have heard of the Bonzo Dog Band (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonzo_Dog_Band) (also called the Bonzo Dog Dada Band and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band). Much like the Beatles, one of their strengths lies in stylistic experimentation, but their catalogue has a strong backbone of more humorous songs, or just songs not about Twoo Luv. (They're also distantly related to the Monty Python troupe, through one of their band members, Neil Innes. Make of that what you will.) Their work is also, sadly, a bit hard to get hold of.

Looking at your like of classic British rock I'm gonna recommend The Who. Your lack of them on your list disturbs me.

On video game music assuming you've already heard of OCRemix and the Black Mages(if you haven't check them out), look up Metroid Metal.

In the vein of Dethklok, I would suggest other Viking Metal/Melodic Death Metal bands such as Amon Amarth and later Bathory, In Flames (Clayman-Colony era especially)
