Dropkick Murphys

Otherwise known as the best band ever, I thoroughly enjoy Dropkick Murphys. They are an irish punk-rock band (kind of, I'm not too in to punk) with songs ranging from awesome irish drinking songs (fuck you, I'm drunk, kiss me, I'm shitfaced, drink and fight, etc) to awesome fast rock songs (rocky road to dublin, johnny I hardly knew ya, I'm shipping up to boston, time to go) to awesome kind of metal-ish songs (blood and whiskey, bar room hero).

I enjoy them in all of their styles, and I love that they play the accordion and stuff, alternative instruments. Many of the songs are hilarious, and the ones that aren't are awesome, and of course there is a lot of cross-over between the two.

I've only ever heard Shipping Up to Boston, cause it was in the Departed, but that is a badass song. It like my second most listened to song on iTunes.

It was also on the simpsons the other week. I did a double take when I heard that while watching the simpsons out of the corner of my eye.

I'm really a bigger fan of Flogging Molly. Dropkick Murphys have some good music but imo the quality is just a little low.
