HOW DO WE SLEEP WHEN OUR BEDS ARE BURNING >_<

This song is terrible and it has been stuck in my head.

Name the songs you hate that stick in your head! It's musical! There is music involved.

Well as of this particular moment, I would have to say Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil, you goat-blowing son of a whore.

Any rap, hip-hop, or R&B. Hate sister.

Specifically: "She got those apple bottom jeans (jeans), boots with the fur (fur), the whole club was looking at her."

*shudder*

Mother fucking damn you, John. Mother fucking damn you.

Last week, in my Organic Chem lecture, I had Leonard Nimoy's "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins" stuck in my head.

Ahem

I once had Jefferson Airplanes' Want Somebody to love, as sung by John Cleese stuck in my head.

And he has never sang the song.

That or Pain by Three Days Grace. Awful song.

This theme (http://getsmarttunnel.ytmnd.com/) gets stuck in my head regularly, looping ad infinitum.

I hate that song. It sucks.

I have had the entire "99 bottles of beer on the wall" stuck in my head for 3 weeks.

I'd have to say Electric Six - High Voltage. Not a truly terrible song, but oh dear lord the music video... *shudders*

The Captain Planet theme song, for three years. It just wouldn't stop.

Also Milkshake, someday I'm gonna skin Kelis alive.

Their lead singer is our Federal Environment Minister now. I still reckon they should make him minister of Defence and just have him dance at the border to scare enemies away.

This song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xU6-MjGNdlg) became stupidly popular in Mexico about three years ago. You don't even need to know the language to see why it is so enraging. Years later, that tune is still stuck in my head.

It's the "Hey Ricky" of mexican pop culture, it sounds like.

My friend delights in showing me strange music videos. The latest was Ashlee Simpson's "Outta My Head." Not only is the song in my head, but the video is too. Pure trauma.

At the moment? Dawn Over a New World by Dragonforce.

Not that I'm complaining, in this case. At least it's not Around the World by Daft Punk, like it was for a couple weeks a while back. Not fun.

Eh, it's hard to be bothered by your garden-variety repetitiveness being out east. It's hard to be bothered by most things, because I have to divert energy from being angry at reggaeton in order to be angry at things that aren't reggaeton. Even when I sleep, I still hear that beat.

As of last night, when I was taking a shower this delightful little opening theme popped into my head. So, of course, I had to let my roommate hear it.

Kanye's Harder, Faster, Whatever. It's so much worse when you only half know the words.

This is really the case with pretty much any catchy song; if you actually knew the full lyrics you could sing it through and dislodge it from your brain but the killer is knowing only one and a half lines of the goddamn chorus that get thrown into non-stop repeat.

As someone who has done far more organic chem than is good for him, that would generally be an improvement.

Also "Magic Dance" by Bowie. Like forever. Ever since I first saw Labyrinth when I was a kid. It fuels my descent into insanity.

I don't necessarily hate them, but I don't really like them and I'm ashamed of saying this, but really any Atreyu song. They are extremely catchy!

Well as of this particular moment, I would have to say Beds are Burning by Midnight Oil, you goat-blowing son of a whore.

I second that emotion, but "Beds are Burning" is still easier to have in my head than that damned "Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.

Also, if I hear one more person sing that damned "Soulja Boy/Supaman dat ho" song or that fucktarded "Apple Bottom Jeans/Boots with da fur" song one more time, I will unleash all eight and a half months' worth of my previously withheld pregnant woman rage to BEAT THE LIVING SHIT out of him or her.

(Whoopsie...looks like a bit slipped out anyway. XD Fortunately, I have Pink Floyd playing now, and that usually makes everything better.)

Girls Just Want to Have Fun. They play it at work. ;_; It wouldn't be so bad if the singer's voice wasn't excessively sugary and poppy.

Also GODDAMN UMBRELLA SONG.

Nikose Tyris

The three rules of Nikose:

1: Any song can be stuck in my head at almost any time.

2: Whatever you say to me has a 10% cumulative chance to remind me of a song, despite you having said NOTHING about said song.

3: if I do not know the lyrics of said song, it is there FOREVER.

Case in point: for the last 3 weeks I have had "Tomorrow" by Annie in my head. do you know how HARD that song is to find online? How many people fucking name their song "TOMORROW" and who the hell sings it? Searching "Annie" pulls up NOTHING for lyrics. I only just found it tonight.

I Don't Want To Be In Love(Dance Floor Anthem) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_mhpRz0liA&feature=related) - Good Charlotte

Why? Why does the freakin' chorus had to be so freakin' catchy?

This one only started recently. I think my personal record for a song being stuck in my head was three weeks, brought to you by Dragostea Din Tei...aka The Numa Numa Song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeLFbtyzSXA), by Ozone.

Sorry for the AMV...the real music video for the song is out there...but it was too lame for me to post here and feel bad for inflicting it upon innocent people.

Oh man I know it's off topic, but ever since I heard that Nickelbacksucks song, where Someday and This Is How You Remind Me are played simultaneously showing that it's the exact same song with different lyrics I just can't stop singing the exact other song that is currently playing.

I mean I know it's Nickelback but it's at least it's a cruel way to sing Nickelback.

Well it's not a -bad- song but it's been jammed in the brain for a couple of days now:
#You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips
#And there's no tenderness like before in your fingertiiiiips
#You're trying hard not to show it, babyyyy
#But baby, darling I know iiit

I blame late night Top Gun.

I once hear a song about having someone/something stuck in their head. It played on the radio that we listened to on the way to school every day (this was on the dreaded Bus Number 11) EVERY SINGLE DAY. It wasn't a CD, it just played on the radio that much.

I mean I know it's Nickelback but it's at least it's a cruel way to sing Nickelback.I can top Nickelbacksucks, except its with a band I like. Their EP had a different singer/lyricist, bassist, and guitarist than they have now, but the guitarist was the same when the full release came out. Polaris/Winter Fevers changes somewhere around 3:20, but that's because they took out the slow solo and added vocals. In any case, I present to you The Human Abstract 1.0 vs. The Human Abstract 4.0 (They have changed band members a lot +_+):

Winter Fevers (Right) and Polaris (Left) (http://www.mediafire.com/?p62irzugx42)
Meperidine Cathedral (Right) and Movement from Discord (Left) (http://www.mediafire.com/?iggxdvz2v1f)

The left ear is the newer album, the right is the EP.

I can't really say why they did this. They also have a very old track that was like the intro to one song on the newer album leading into another with a slightly different vocal. I mean, I don't wanna say they are unoriginal because I like them and they have other songs than these (They didn't use the other two songs off of the EP, oddly enough). Its just odd.

Makes for a funny harmony though.

/offtopic.

In other news, Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu are out of my head. Now The Human Abstract is there. I am content.

Damn it! During the last DnD session I was at one of my friends told me to play "the math song." Apparently "the math song" is Remember the Name. I've had that in my head for two weeks. Last time I take requests ever.

EDIT: In particular the Eminem remix (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HpGaIrLEssQ).
