That still leads to Schism. Just so you know.

Anyway, this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BCYMqlfA98) guy used a hammer and manipulated it to make it into a violin (using various modifications). That still counts right?

My first thought was "I dunno but I'm positive Tom Waits has used it." I haven't checked but I wouldn't be surprised at all.

EDIT: Yep, on The Black Rider for one. Tom Waits can be so predictable.
