I like :rmage: because :rmage: is the coolest...and you are a stupid head if you think otherwise....and :bmage: rocks.

But seriously, I like lightsaber chucks....and want to get this war under way.
So how can I go about making it much faster?

Well since no one else took them I can just handle the main guys. Thing we need is a conflict. Any suggestions?

Question: Is the army of Scorn in space or do they have some base of operations?

Aerozord

Well since Scorn and Psysis are new they dont have a stationary home base. Scorns is transportable so it can be any where.

Ok cool

Sokar
03-22-2004, 10:38 PM
Name: Sokar
Gender: He is without gender; a demon knows not such things.
Age: He has been around since time incarnate, he does not know how long he has been alive since time in hell itself is not bound by such laws as relativity.
Faction: Scorn
Skills: He is the swiftest of demon, able to move at speeds surpassing many mechanoids. He is an energy synch, able to pull the energy around him into his being then release it as pure energy in any form he chooses. He is only able to pull in energy for a short period of time, however, since the energy is very volatile in his body. He is also able to pull energy into his demonic blade Kijin allowing it to strike with elemental properties. Not only this but he commands the Apla Latluw, a demonic type mechanoid. He is in telepathic contact with it at all times and is able to control it completely. The problem is that while controlling it from outside its reaction time and speed is a mere fraction of when he is inside. It is a bio-mechanoid, actually connecting directly with Sokar while he pilots it. The Apla Latluw surpasses even the Magnus in terms of speed and agility, but seriously lacks in the weapon department. The Apla Latluw has AERODs (Xenogears reference, think funnels from Gundam if need be). It only has two AERODs though, and both are used for defense instead of offense. It is however able to make more AERODs from the power cores of battleship class vehicles. The only weapon the Apla Latluw has is a larger version of Sokar's demonic blade that is able to utilize solar energy for a more focused attack. It is also able to go invisible by absorbing all the light that touches its surface, but gives off the energy in the form of excessive heat.
There are many limitations to his powers however. He is only able to move at optimal speed for a mere minute, after this he risks becoming extremely fatigued and so must wait a minute for another push. His energy synch ability is only able to absorb a limited amount, then he risks being burned from the inside out. He absorbs energy almost without control, but still is able to stop some from being absorbed. The Apla Latluw must be in a direct light source while using excessive energy such as in combat; otherwise it is only able to function for five minutes before eating away at its true power.
Weapon of Choice: The Kijin, an ancient long sword wrapped in the flesh of a demonic Archmage.
Home: Hell, the four hundred and eighth level to be exact.

Personality: His only drive in life is to become stronger, and bring order to the universe. His order is not to be confused with the order of Master Tech however; his is one of efficiency and obedience. He will do this by any means necessary, even following Scorn who he detests. The only real reason he works for Scorn is because Scorn was his path out of hell, which began to become a barren exploit for him. He does not like either his fellow demons or the humans; they have both shown themselves for fools and do not deserve to exist in his eyes. He is manipulative and will use anyone who looks worth the trouble. He mostly does not talk though unless for some purpose.

Bio: He has been in hell, fighting as many demons as possible for their power. A tournament in the past landed him the Apla Latluw, which was nothing but a mass of demon bodies when he got it. Through his will it formed the Apla Latluw in its current form, showing the form of his spirit in material space. After awhile hell began to be nothing but a land of inopportunity, and so he learned of Scorn's next summoning portal location. Since his release he has slaughtered the entire population of Elru, a small outpost of Galactic, single handedly earning him the name Demon of Elru. He has now become one of Scorn's top demon mechanoid fighters, a title he takes lightly.

Name: None given, but has termed itself Hermes.
Gender: None
Age: 49 years, 3 months, 2 days, 1 hour, and 34 minutes (and counting).
Faction: Psysis
Skills: Extreme speed and agility. He can move at speeds unrivalled by any of Psysis' other scouts, and uses these on the attack, if need be. Normally, he scouts, using the latest stealth technology, and his own experiences. His thruster set up will allow acceleration in any direction, but if its a radical change (More then 45 degrees within 2 seconds as that's actually fairly limiting at high speeds) then it takes a critical moment to change directions. Therefore, it takes an extreme amount of calculation to fly in a high speed combat situation, as you will continue to drift until the change is effected(Inertia.) Hermes fights cautiously until he has a fair grasp of his opponent's fighting style. Helpful, as most peons have no unique style of their own, and he's got a fair idea of what they'll do.
Personality: It flat out refuses to divulge the AI that allowed him to be unique. While it is loyal Psysis, this is because it holds that Psysis gave him the spark of inteligence. It will assist Psysis, but only because it feels bound by this. After Psysis has completed his goals, Hermes will consider its debt paid in full. Until then, it will serve with fierce, but not foolish, loyalty. He is still an independent entity, however. He will disobey Psysis' commands if he thinks they're wrong, but has only had occasion to once.
Weapon of choice: It prefers to fight with the upgraded version of the blades it started with. It does use a wide variety of experimental weaponry, and a few standard issue rifles, however, so it can hold its own at ranged.
Bio: A scout robot created by Psysis around 1/2 way through the war. Out of the many robots of his model, it was decided he would receive the beta test of an AI program. The test worked wonderfully, and a few minor improvements were made, or so it was thought. It turned out the changes gave them too much free will, conceivably threatening Psysis with an uprising. He quickly purged the new robots, and tried a direct copy of Hermes' circuits. That, somehow didn't work either. It seemed as if the new AI was resisting a direct copy. Intrigued, Psysis studied the battle data. Judging by the readings, Hermes was performing better and better. In time, he came to receive upgrades as the robotic army was overhauled, as opposed to Psysis allowing him to be destroyed and replacing him. He now tests the newest equipment for scout robots, allowing him access to technologies as yet unseen by the other powers (Kilos excepted, most likely). This means that, although the burden falls on it to create tactics, these tactics will surprise whoever they're fighting.
Appearance (Not required, but as he falls under no auto archetype, I feel it necessary): Its current design is centauric, in a fashion. Although it has a humanoid "upper half" it uses an engine with thrusters attached for the "lower half". These terms are mostly esthetic, as it makes no difference to his performance as to the direction it's facing. When the current brand of stealth is initiated, it resembles the scenery behind it, regardless of what "behind him" is to you. This is fine for when it's at distance, but when magnified, or when he's nearby, you can tell that there seems to be a curve in space. It doesn't normally use stealth mode, as it burns more energy then normal mode, and he isn't capable of nearly such high speeds or combat performance when stealth is enabled. Although not a useless turtle, it can only rely on its blade, and without massive speed or much extra power, the blade is no more effective then a blade strike from one of Master Tech's peons. Its normal armor plating is red and black, as those work in most areas for stealth.

By the way don't be to worried about death in the thread. There are ways to revive people. Varies on the side on how it is done though.

Here are all previous posts involving the story, not including the storyline itself

The year is 2123. An inter-dimensional war has been under way for 100 years. Five factions have appeared each with its own leaders and objectives. One side is ruled by a pure energy being that wishes to destroy all life (he uses people to help with this task). The other is centered around Earth, it goal is to defeat the other factions and restore peace. Two more each merely wish to control all existence. The Final is a faction that only wishes to perpetuate the war and maintain a balance of power.

Factions: (factions will be named by their respective leaders)
Galactic: He is a pure energy being that wishes to destroy all life and absorb all matter and energy into his being. His greatest warriors are Desolation the shape shifter with amazing strength, Armory he carries super charged weapons (melee weapons) and is skilled in all combat, and his mysterious apprentice. Only thing known about this apprentice is that she can manipulate energy into nearly and form. Galactic also keeps other beings alive as slave labor or exterminators

Master Tech: The leader of the Earth forces. He is a great warrior and wishes nothing more then to restore the universe to its proper order. He has the resources of many worlds and has a great and loyal army. His most powerful fighters are: Silent scope (the sniping mech that relies on sound), Blade ( a master swords man with many blades), Reaper (master marksman, works best with Blade), Cassandra (Master Tech's daughter and the only fighter to surpass him), Yochen (Master Tech's second in command, him and Master Tech are capable of fusion), and Lilith (Cassandra's mother. Mighty Mechanoid, mech, pilot and the leader of a false army). All his forces are hired or volunteer.

Scorn: Was once Galactic's loyalist fighter but created his own army after being betrayed by his former master. Scorn is a master sorcerer and seeks not only to rule over all but to gain more mystical items to increase his strength. His main forces are demons, he maintains control with them and an item known as the Vassel of San Hane. The Vassel of San Hane is a portal to the under world. With it he can call demons to posses people.

Psysis: A powerful psychic that was genetically engineered by Galactic. He and Scorn have a weak but standing alliance. His forces are mainly robots and mind slaves. His psychic power is enhanced with special devises he has made and/or found. He also wants to control all life in existence.

Kilos: He is a creature that can absorb the skills, abilities, strength, and memories of others. Although he is the strongest he rarely interferes in the war. His goal is to continue the war and absorb people when they reach new levels of power. His only ally is Magnos a former human that he rebuilt. Magnos has control over magnetic fields and can teleport, levitate, and even rip holes in space time. In addition Kilos's rebuild allows him to regenerate. Oh and Master Tech is taken. Rest is first come first serve

World/ Game play
You can choose any faction, but if you want to be one of the main characters please PM me so I can explain what they can and cannot do. With the exception of Kilos all factions have massive armies each with its own ships, technology, and weapons. There are Mechs, or mechanoids as they will be called here, and space ships both small and large. There are many dimensions and all sides have access to them.

Player Characters:

Name: Jack Alucard
Gender: Male
Fraction: Master Tech
Skills: Words of power, (Kyo's) Dark powers, able to call upon the forces of evil
Weapon: Hand to hand combat, Stiletto
World: Chasonic
Personality: Calm in collected, has his soft side, likes to look at the better things in life, the silver lining of everything, but still knows when the joking time is to cease, a good fighter, and never gives up, believes that if you set your mind to it, it will get done.
Bio: When his planet allied with Earth, Jack was quick to join the military. Hoping and praying he could help in anyway.

Name: Awij'izar
Gender: Male
Age: 439
Faction: Master Tech
Skills: Blue Magic, knife throwing
Weapon(s) of choice: A long dagger, but he prefers his throwing knives
Home world/dimension: A separate dimension, a planet called Nordu
Personality: Rarely speaks, but makes a big impression when he does.
Bio: He lived in a world where people lived to be 1,000 years old easily. Therefore, he still has the appearance of a 28-year-old man. He was brought to this world by Magnos, who(as Aero said in his story) ripped a hole in space, bringing Awij'izar with him. Magnos quickly convinced him to join Kilos's cause. Awi was no different than any human is when he was on Nordu. However, because of several changes in physics between the two worlds, Awi has found himself to be an excellent knife-thrower. He was also a decent acrobat, but nothing quite extraordinary as his knife-throwing. He now serves under Kilos, and while he can't absorb people to the extent that Kilos can, he studies blue magic and enjoys using his opponents most powerful skills against them. However, Awi soon realized the reality of Kilos's mission. He only wanted to absorb people, to gain power, and nothing more. He realized that, although this war was not his own, he must take a stand and fight for what he believes, rather than remain idle.

Name: Grendari Llundrux
Gender: male
Age: 25
Faction: Scorn
Skills: Black Magic/Technology integration
Weapon of choice: Imbued Rubix Cube
Origin/dimension: Einerlin, a large world run by scientists and mages, named for the two greatest of their kind. The rulers have teams of scientists working on solving mysteries of the universe, while the teams of mages exploit the weak fabrics of the space-time continuum discovered by the scientists. This Planet has grown in size over the last three generations because of their efforts, however, every time the mages exploit the continuum, the closest alternate-dimensions become closer, and eventually, if they keep this up, this planet will become a nexus of sorts that will allow all manner of existence through, no matter who tries to stop it.
Profile/bio: Grendari was apprenticed to a scientist-mage of world renown and incredible power and knowledge, until Kilos absorbed him. When Grendari learned of his master's death, he researched Kilos in the rather extensive, and ever expanding, library on Einerlin, until he found out about Scorn and set out with a magically-enhanced rubix cube (the last thing his master created before he died) to find Scorn and join forces with him, in exchange for some of the magical and technological items he brought along with him.
Personality: Grendari Llundrux is the type that will do anything for revenge against Kilos, even join one who is trying to take over the Universe and fight along side him. Other than that, he, like all who are from his planet, is high-minded and haughty.

Name: Isceos ( i-se-os)
Gender: male
Age: 45
Faction: psysis
Skills: Dark magic/sorcery, Throwing axe
Weapon of choice: just like fighter (8-bit theater) but with AXES
Origin/dimension: a simple world. Nothing is important or has names in this place. (more info in the profile about him)
Profile/bio: created in a laboratory (in normal dimensions) and escaped when a fire swept the lab, he learned the ways of dark magic and is an expert at any tactical situation. He prefers to let others do the fighting and have himself give the orders but he is still an expert in magic and enjoys using axes (mostly throwing or double edge)
Personality: enjoys angering opponents to the extent of them acting fiercely and foolishly. taunts and insults from him are as great as his power of magic. spends most of his spare time (if any) honing his already advanced tactical skills.
Weak points (decided to add some cause he seems kind of too good): since he is so concentrated on action vs. consequence, he is easily wounded or damaged for lack of attention to his welfare.

Name: None given, but has termed itself Hermes.
Gender: None
Age: 49 years, 3 months, 2 days, 1 hour, and 34 minutes (and counting).

Name: Azure Groz
Gender: Male
Age: 31
Faction: Galactic
Skills: The best of close combat fighters. Leader of the 1st Armored Dragoon Division.
Weapon(s) of choice: Claws. He also has a sword and shield that has been upgraded a few times to his specifications.
Personality: Like his tech, Azure moves and thinks fast. He is usually able to get out of the way before anything tries to get to him. He often thinks of plans and strategies (not quite like our favorite strategist ) He is one of the best military minds in Galactic's army.
Bio: Azure was born into the world like every other kid, in a chamber. He showed at a small age to be quick minded and picked up things very quickly. He went off to a military training school when he was at age 5. He found a more hand to hand combat preferable to long range combat and thus landed his first tech as a Dragoon. He proved to be a master of that tech at the age of 19 when we piloted it through the obstacle corse with a record time, on his first try. He rose through the military ranks quickly and became a commander at the age of 28. He has always been loyal to Galactic and hopes to prove that in the upcoming conflict.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Master Tech: Bulk of his force is technology based. The rest of his focus is on, people of skill; Reaper's marksmanship, Yochens Z fighter abilities, ect. He also relies heavily on Mechanoids. Master Techs main weapons are the Astro-Spear, Aerozord, Space-Ray, and the Magnes to name a few. The Astro-Spear is a battle ship of incredible power. It has several blasters and missile bays as well as 6 arms; a pair is used as grappler arms, another is used for boarding ships, and the third is a powerful Ion weapon. Its main weapon is a powerful energy blast capable of destroying lesser ships. The Aerozord is the main Mechanoid of his fleet. It also has a jet form used mainly for covering great distances quickly. It has a fusion powered buster rifle, a shoulder mounted gattling-gun, as well as a few missiles and a sword. The Space-Ray is the second main stay. It is a quick and nimble ship that can ride the solar winds. This allows it to outlast all ships. The most powerful is the Magnes, a raptor like mechanoid. It has great speed, armor, shields, and weapons. It is immune to about every attack and can destroy entire armadas in minutes. Only highly trained pilots fly these machines so few exist. The Magnes has one fatal weakness, in order to maintain all of these strengths it had to sacrifice its energy. The Magnes can only be in battle for 15mins before it dies.

Galactic: His army is similar to Master Techs. However most of his army is either slave labor or machines. Only his mightiest warriors serve him willingly. Main weapons: Destroyer, Juggernaut, Aerotransformer, Alpha-aerotransformer, Parasite, Dragoon. The destroyer is the counter-part of the Astro-spear. It is shaped like an elongated pyramid and had four grappler arms. The top can form a fifth claw and in side that claw there is a powerful beam weapon.

Aerotransformer uses the air itself as an energy source. It also produces a shield that can repel any energy attack. Its main weakness is that it cannot block physical attacks. It can also be converted to operate in space but will eventually shut-down. Alpha-Aerotransformer is exactly the same as the aerotransformer but it is made of the ultra dense metal dicosium. Dicosium cannot be broken by any material except dicsium itself. Energy however can destroy dicosium. Juggernaut: as it names implies it is nearly unstoppable. It is crafted in thick dicosium, has several types of shields, and a huge power supply. One shot from one of its 3 weapons can destroy a city. It can also focus this beam or split it into several smaller beams to destroy many small targets. Perhaps its only real weakness is that its top speed is only about 5 miles an hour. Dragoon is a mechanoid modeled after a humanoid dragon. It mainly uses its claw and heat blasts to deal damage and has a hull of dicosium. It is quick but has no energy shielding leaving it vulnerable to energy blasts. Parasite is Galactic's answer to the Magnes. It is the Magnes's equal in weapons strength (though it has fewer), speed, and defense. It can also out last the Magnes. However its power source is the pilot itself. The parasite was named due to the fact that it eats the pilot for energy. The fact that it requires this human element is its only weakness.

Scorn: Scorn relies on magic and demons to enforce his rule. He uses the Vessel of San Hane to release demons that posses the masses. His ships are actually gigantic demons. As well as, what would by the other factions be called, mechanoids. Main weapons: unknown. Like Psysis, Scorn has little technology. However he uses his mystical powers to summon creatures to do his bidding. He has also perfected the art of altering his creatures. He now can create an army of specialized demons. The three main artifacts at his disposal are the Vessel of San Hane, Bane of Life and his staff. The Vessel of San Hane summons demons that can possess the living. His staff has absorbed many magical artifacts. As a result it has great strength. Most of these artifacts are stored in a gem at the top of the staff. The finally weapon is the Bane of Life. The Bane of Life is a sword that absorbs all the energy and strength of the one it cuts. It is a powerful weapon that can only truly be controlled by Scorn. He can also infuse it with other swords.

Psysis: Psysis's forces are mind-slaves and machines. Only his slave labor is free of his mind control. Psysis is most technology based and relies heavily on them. Main weapons: unknown. Since Psysis and Scorn are new factions they haven't developed many of their own devises. Most of what Psysis uses is generic mechanoids and ships with no distinctive features. How ever he does use an important piece of technology. He wears a psychic enhancing suit that amplifies his powers. This suit also is encrusted with other artifacts that enhance his mental powers. Psysis uses these powers to control the will of those that serve him. Psysis has also developed a type of psychic tower that allows him to control a large area with little effort. He is also the only faction to use smaller un-manned mechanoids as weapons. These how ever are often altered copies of what other cultures use. Do to his mind reading abilities he has access to a large amount of information making his technology the most advanced (even if not the most creative). His technology is not inherently superior. He man have more advanced weapons but the others better utilize theirs.

Kilos: the only members of this faction are Kilos and Magnos. They rely solely on their own power and never ally and rarely interfere in the actual war. The only time they ever do is when a particular side has tipped the scale of power to far in some ones favor. The only Tech he really has to speak of is Magnos' suit. His suit allows him to manipulate magnetic fields. Thanks to Kilos' upgrades he can even alter space-time and gravity. Magnos often has a titanium-iron cloud around him. With all this control he is one of the deadliest foes any one can face. However he has given his life to his new master and only wishes to help Kilos reach new levels of strength.

Orange surem: perhapps Galactic's most evil creation. It is a type of virus. It can enter though the blood, air, food, water, or touch. It converts all organic cells into its self. It spread across a planet. Eventually all life, be it in the air, water, land, or in the ground is dead.

7-weapons: As the name implies there are seven of them. 2 make a blaster, 2 make a shield, 2 make a sword, and the finnaly one combines them. It is a conduit weapon and its power is porpotional to the users strength. For some referance if some one of Master Tech's strength uses its completed for he can destroy a solar system with little effort. Also the energy it creates is immune to nulifiers and absorbtion.

But do you know what happens to it when you shoot a laser at it?

The same thing that happens to everything else!! :bmage:

If the 7-weapons are shot at, then the shield blocks. And little gets by that shield.

Aerozord
03-26-2004, 06:53 PM
Ok here is alittle demo of what would happen if MT had all 7 and fought against the others (they will all get stronger).

Galactic fires a huge amount of energy at MT. He blocks with the 7-weapons. Scorn tries to score a hit. MT turns and slices Scorn, he disintegrates from the energy wake. He blasts Galactic shattering his. He flies and slices Psysis in two. He shields against Kilos' attempt to absorb his then slices him as well.

That is a quick example purely to give you a basic idea of what kind of power it has.
