I have been playing Warhammer for 5 years and have come to a grim conclusion: I suck with Wood Elves.
I've read the rule book and army book two times each.
I've read my opponents in and out.
I've used spells that use rocks and trees in a heavily forrested, rocky area.
I've read the newest edition of White Dwarf magazine and I must admit they provided some good strategy...but not nearly enough for my loathesome suckish ass. My record so far is somewhere between 3-15 and the Jets combined 2002-2003 records.
I've read and analysed every "Twinkin' Out" (I don't even think Red Mage can find a stat configuration to help me).
I need help, strategy, tips, tricks, anything anyone can come up with. Keep in mind that this is played on a 6"x3" pool table.
My army is as follows (or just about):
1 General [light armor, shield, mounted]
1 sorceress [level 2]
6 Glade Riders [mounted, shields]
15 Glade Guards [light armor, shields, 1 Champion, 1 Musician, 1 Standard Bearer]
5 Warhawk Riders w/ bows or spears
24 Archers
10 Dryads
6 Waywatchers
1 Treeman
Yes I realize I need a lot more units, but a man can only earn so much in a week. I was thinking some Wardancers and a lot more archers. What do you think?
Thanks
