USB mixups

I have a desktop harddrive that, when connected to the computer, received the letter G.
All was fine and dandy untill I connected my cellphone to the computer, which then took the letter G, giving the hard drive the letter H, screwing up all my setups.
Is there any way to restore order, I.E. identify the harddrive as G?
