One Piece without 4kids

Well I just watched it and I cant even properly compare the two. It has made me realize just how butchered the show must have been. They even have new voice actors (not uncommon when a new company gets the licence). Again I cant judge since I was so used to the old ones but I do know they are more well known actors since I recognize them.

So I wanted to know the opinion of everyone else, especially those that have seen the japanese version. In any case anytime a series is lost to 4kids is time to celebrate. Now with any luck they will eventually redo the episodes like they did with DBZ.

The voices get 2 thumbs up for me, except I haven't heard Sanji's yet.

In case you didn't know, Piccolo = Zoro and Krillin = Usopp. Chopper sounds like a little girl, but its not that bad.

only thing about chopper that bugged me is, unless I miss heard his voice stayed the same when he transformed

In the original, Chopper's voice stayed high-pitched in Heavy Point.

Yeah his voice never changes in the original.

And all of the problems with dubs (especially 4kids) are why I prefer fan-subbed versions. :D

Maybe One Piece will *gasp* actually be good now! ...Hah, that's a good joke! One Piece has always sucked!!!
