Journeyman

I just found out about this new NBC show called Journeyman. Before I even read the synopsis, I thought of the computer game series The Journeyman Project. Said series is about a man who travels through time and thus saves the world. Sure enough, the TV show is about time travel. The similarities stop there, though, so I'm a little confused. Isn't there some sort of copyright violation going on?

Or it could be a television show loosely based off the video game. I mean, they're trying to do it in movies, television was the next step. (Not counting animation, of course.)
