Yeha, a little... but it's nice to see that they tried to get at least a little far off the common place with anime movies... Memories of Nobody is a good one... now i want to see the Diamond Dust Rebelion

Hmm. lets do a reveiw.

First off, the story. Wasn't to bad, but wasn't really exciting either. Mysterious new person show up, things happen. Now I'll spoil very little, so go watch the movie on Myspace or Veoh. Back to the point, it's fairly cliched, and very predictable. Though, it is there first movie, so I'll be fairly leniant here.

An Overall 7/10, Average, but I may be being generous.

Next, the battles. Yes I'm mentioning the battles under it's own catagory. Unfortunantly the battles were depressing. I was expecting some kick-ass 45 straight minutes of sweet sweet carnage. That didn't come, much to my disbelief. The bad guys were weak, and didn't even hold a pimping trump. Comon! All evil villains require some trump, even the lamer ones. Boo on you Bleach!

Much worse, 5/10. Bleach should heve kick-ass fights, agreed?

Lastly the animantion. Pretty good is all I can really say. It holds the bleach standard, and has a few cool things. Was it just me, or was that Kidou Cannon created just for this movie. If not, I expect to see more of it later. The series seems to getter better and better, animated at least.

Nice, a 8/10. It pulled through here.

The next one has much to improve upon. Fix the story up and get some real kickassery battles and it'll shine purty than a fresh cut diamond.

Wow... I like the Bleach series as a general thing. But man, I made it sounded like I hated it. I really didn't. It's just that so much better anime movies exist. Hell the first Naruto movie is a bit better. And I'm pretty sure Bleach is more awsome than Naruto.

Let us be fair...

for a Movie, memories of nobody holds up just fine... it's sad that the Good fights only happens on the last third of the movie (and they are not all that good)

But they try to appeal to the "serious storytelling" and "Heartworming stories" also... and that is what drags the movie down...

Althoug i DID like it that the movie wasnt just an excuse for Overly Cg'ed Fights (they actually have a consistent plot... even if it's cliche'd)

But i too was expecting a Bigger "bang"

For me? 3.5 out of 5

I could give it a 4 because of the beatifull and solid animation... but it drags a bit on the other ends

I'm not sure how I feel about that. The last several weeks of BLEACH have been ramming him down our throats with Ichigo trains, and honestly even though they got back onto the main story arc, I think I hate Hitsugaya now.
