It comes out soon enough, i find it odd to not see a thread about it.. so here it is!

Anyone looking foward for this? It's the momment where superman dies and becomes Mulletman... that's huge!

It DOES sound a little short to cover everything the comic books did... but still, looks like a very nice thing to expect for

1. I totally bet he ends up living or gets brought back to life like five minutes after he dies or some shit like that, cause that's how they always do these things in cartoons.

2. It would be better for Cyborg Superman to just not exist altogether, because fuck Cyborg Superman.

3. Seriously why in the fuck are they even making this, Death of Superman was a crapfest the first time they did it. It was like "lol monstar, grar," and then Superman and a stocky retard who nobody knew about before and nobody's given half a shit about since punch each other in the face for 20 fucking issues.

Only thing I know is that it's not supposed to be related whatsoever to the DCAU, nor are the other animated movies they're making.

Oh he DOES goes back to life... the trailer shoes Mulletman in the Black suit...

Also, there is a shot os "a" (not sure if it is "the" ) superman Shooting lasers on Military tanks... and a Superman hand breaking from the undergound of his burial site...

But no Superboy, Cyborg, Steel or that other Freakybitch showed up yet...

Im looking foward because i like the mature tone of this movie, much like i enjoyed some of the Batman's animated movies. Superman deserves a good animated movie too, maybe this is it...

Plus, it's crystal clear to me that this is also a part of a bigger project to get more attention to both, the JLA movie AND to try and justify a bigger budget for the next Superman movie.

I think the writers of Justice League give a shit about him, seeing as how they wrote him into the show.

yea but in Justice League they gave an alternative reminisant of Marvels "What if" comics. Like, hmm what if superman wasn't a pussy and just roasted Doomsday's brain?

Oh dear lord. Why would you bring such a travesty back to life? It's like a cruel mockery of Superman's return from death in real life.
The Death of Superman needs to be erased. Superman needs to reverse time like in Superman 2 (I think...those movies were a long time ago) and get rid of that. It is a slur on his good name and humanity as a whole.

I actually saw this whole thing at Comic Con and it was a disappointment...
No Superboy, no Steel, no Cyborg, and no freakybitch in the movie at all.
Not to mention Adam Baldwin should never be allowed to play Clark Kent/Superman ever again.
Stay away from this as well as Doctor Strange... both animated movies hurt to watch.

Bleh. I also saw the whole thing at Comic Con, and it isn't anything to write home about. Yes, the fight between Doomsday & Superman is awesome, and Doomsday introduction is only slightly cheesy.

However, instead of Superboy/Cyborg/Steel, we get a Superman clone. Which pretty much acts exactly like Bizzaro did, before he started to degenerate. And pretty much ends up very predictiably.

On the upside, Lex is awesome & very well characterized in this one. Even better than his Justice League incarnation.

I've been out of the loop of DCAU and comics for far too long.

So is this the 'final' animated movie of Superman?

If it makes money, No.
