I hate that main dude in Miami..

It's just the way he talks..something really aggravates me about it.

Horatio Caine? I think he's kinda cool...

Yeah, I think Horatio was the main reason I stopped watching Miami. I like Gary Sinise's character on NY much better, although no one seems to like that series.

Odd, Horatio is my second favourite character out of all three CSIs (My favourite being Grissom)

That said, his one-liners were incredibly corny, but at least he was better than NYs main character: The Crime Fighting Monotone.

Horatio was the reason I started watching Miami. Sure, he tosses off pure cheese every now and then, and he's gonna develop a hump one day, but I think that's what makes him so... loveable? That and he comes off (to me) as tough, with those wicked shades and his overall attitude.
It's a fun show to just laugh at, too. Everyone's so serious, and yet they're all comedians. It's strange, and yet I can't help but like it.

*Comic and stuffs*

Did he....did he just put sunglasses on top of sunglasses? Because that's pure rad.

I like the supporting characters on Miami, I just can't stand Horatio.

It's the whole "I'm so cool I'm not going to look at you when I talk to you."

Everytime he does, I feel like taking a plane, flying to hollywood, renting a taxi, driving to his studio, and punching him in the face.

I can't stand CSI: Miami anymore, for these reasons:

1) Horatio's whole maneurisms and one-liners are just a massive pain in the ass.

2) Everything is so cheesy! There is an episode where you everyone walking on a beach and laughing while the sun sets in the background.

3) Who the FUCK gave their editors the various filters!? Randomly they show the same image twice, in quadrants, reverse it, do crazy off focuses, etc.

4) The god-damn soundtrack. Seriously, who is choosing the rap to accompany the cast doing lab work?

5) The characters that can do absolutely anything, regardless of how complex things ACTUALLY are.

6) They have SUPER HI-TECH GADGETZ that can do absolutely anything regardless of how complicated or simple it actually is. One episode, they had a device that detected chemical concentrations in the air, and could indicate where there was a higher concentration. Of course, it's a super-rare super hi-tech devize. Guess what? I have a device that does the exact same thing: IT'S CALLED A DOG.

7) The ridiculously implausible situations. Some highlights include Horatio going to Bogota or someplace, finding his nephew aged five years overnight, and discovering a drug-lord with a plot to detonate a bomb or something for not apparent reason. He then kills the drug-lord for killing his wife, stops the bomb from going off, and then finds his nephew who realizes the folly of his actions. Other highlights include a constant reference to a shadowy "The feds," who seem to be doing anything they can that is detrimental, Horatio hunting down a terrorist cell before stopping their attack on a power-plant by breaking out his hidden sniping-skillz, and everyone getting into trouble at some time in some ridiculous way.

8) The series dogged insistence that it is trying to be realistic. Bullshit.

9) It keeps trying to be an action show...but it just isn't an action show.

Strangely enough I find the show less objectionable than Law and Order, but that could just be the 100% lower risk of exposure to Jack McCoy.

I mean, fuck Jack McCoy.

rofl. I have to agree with fifth on this one.

Honestly, Miami would be awesome if they replaced Caruso... get like Sean Connery in there... maybe throw in Kevin Costner... stage it in the 80s... give them revolvers and gatlings... make them all dress up in suits and ties.

Now -there's- a good CSI for ya.

They did that already.

It was called Miami Vice.

You should look it up, there was a black guy named Tubbs.

I find that show loathsome. In fact, my dream episode is where they are all on a boat and at the end, the boat is blown up.

Me and my buddy at work are always making fun of those One Liners.

Such an awful show.

Actually, my post was more or less referring to the movie untouchables. With Sean Connery and Kevin Costner.

Anywho, I'm kinda torn between the 3 CSI shows. I think the perfect cast would be this:

The two leading roles in CSI: New York
The field CSIs from CSI: Miami (That really cool looking dude and the girl that had a crush on him)
The tech person from CSI: New York (CSI: Las Vegas' Greg's real life older brother)
Brass from CSI: Las Vegas

Oh C'mon, how could you leave Grissom out of that? The guy is like a nerdier McGuyver!
