Video/Audio merging

Okay, I nabbed a tool-assisted speedrun of Ocarina of Time from TAS Videos, and I noticed that there was a commentary too. It's funny as hell and now I want to merge the two of them into one file, probably to burn to DVD. What program can I get to do that? Preferably an open-sourced one?

If its AVI then Windows Movie Maker can do it right up for you. Just import the video and the sound into the program. Select all the clips and drag them to the timeline and then select the audio and drag it down there as well. Then just make the movie. It might come out in WMV but most DVD burning programs can handle that format. If you absolutely must it shouldn't be to hard to convert it to AVI with some freeware.

WiINAVI is what I use to convert for the most part, that in conjunction with Sith's idea should work.

to run on a DVD player you can make a VCD with is actually fairly easy... there are a few Freeware VCD makers out there

i dont remember any of them by name because i just use Sony Vegas for all my crap, but im 100% sure there is good programs for this

Alright, it's encoding now.

It ain't the most awesomest commentary ever, but there's a few lines that just bust me up, among them "The Chamber of the Sages is like the lab from Super Metroid. Terrific engineering design, requiring the scientists to make twelve foot jumps to get to their testing areas."

And honestly I'm getting tired of re-sycning the video over and over again every time I have to stop.
