What if the main character had been Kazuma from S-Cry-ED?

Something Krylo came up with a while back. Basically take any anime, and then instead of whoever was actually the main character, you put Kazuma from S-Cry Ed.

Cowboy Bebop: Kazuma in the first episode, "Yo Jet, there's this dude Vicious who fucked things up for me and my girlfriend, I'm gonna go murder him and then rip a crime syndicate apart piece by piece with my bare hands. Dinner's at eight, right?"

Naruto: "You know I guess I am a shitty ninja - so you know what instead of that I'm gonna be an awesome ninja, and start by beating the shit out of Sasuke, and then beating the shit out of that guy with the fucked-up snake fetish, and then beating the shit out of Sosuke again."

So anyway I thought that might be fun for people.

Also yeah, every time someone jerks around taking four episodes to transform into their next form is another time Kazuma says you know I'd like to beat the shit out of you in your Mega Ultra Bad-Azz McScarypants form but I haven't got all day" and then he'd kill them right there in the middle of whatever stupid transformation and then go find someone else to fight.

Ten would probably be mostly the same, except without the romance, and with a totally different attitude. But, I mean, Tidus wanted to beat the fuck out of Sin and Yunalesca and FUCK the final summoning. I'm pretty sure Kazuma would feel the same way, just with less whining about it along the way.

Okay, Kazuma is probably my favorite Anime hero. Ichigo is close second, but only 'cuz he has moral issues with killin' people. Kazuma just punches through their chest.

Kazuma in.. Eureka 7. Given that I never -watched- Eureka 7, it'd be interesting.

Then there's Kazuma in Desert Punk. Fuck the "I'm just a short ugly kid" stuff, he'd just punch the girl through a rock and take the damn key. (okay, I only saw the first three or so episodes)

Kazuma in Gundam would be interesting. By the end of the series, he could be in space without a problem, so he'd probably just blow up Earth and end it. (or whoever the bad guys in Gundam are)

Kazuma instead of Renton... this'll take a while, and probably contain spoilers, but I'm not sure yet as I'm writing this as I think it up.

Well, let's start at the first episode again. I'm gonna leave Kazuma's alter-powers in S-cry-ed, as they complicate things. He's older than Renton, so he'd probably have left Bellforest to go to military school, assuming he was any good at it. Since this is Kazuma we're talking about, that assumption is pretty unlikely. So, since Renton would've been apprenticed to his grandfather if Eureka hadn't shown up, we'll assume that Kazuma was made a similar offer/demand. It isn't difficult to imagine him slacking off outside the garage, probably shooting the breeze with some guys he'd intimidated in school into becoming his gang. Of course, he's left his petty school gang behind, choosing to pick fights with whoever he pleases every night. So, we still have the strained relationship of Renton and Axle with Kazuma taking the role.

When Eureka crashed the Nirvash into Kazuma's room, it was early evening, so he'd probably still be around the garage, though I dount he'd have the same enthusiasm to help her as Renton did. After declaring it Axle's job, Kazuma'd probably head out to skulk around town for the evening. Skipping ahead to morning, we have Eureka burning what remains of Kazuma's room. She'd probably ask Axle where to find the flamethrower. Kazuma'd get pissed and probably shake Eureka by her dress, but would decline to punch her lights out. He was usually pretty nice, relatively speaking, to little girls. Actually, it's funnier if he arrives just as Eureka is fleeing, chasing after her more to avenge his room (having finally realized the gravity of its destruction) than out of obligation to deliver the Amita Drive (which he'd still receive from Axle to continue the plot). He might be intrigued by its destructive power... no, probably not, he was never one to be impressed by technology or the speeches of old men. However, Kazuma can't fly at all without his alter, and even if he had it he couldn't catch the Nirvash with his bullets, so I guess the plot derails here.

Actually, I can think of a way to continue, but this is turning into a fan-fic, so I'll stop.

Unless somebody wants to hear how this goes... it's fun to mix two series I know well and like (or, really, really like in Eureka Seven's case), but it's not enough to make me force fan-fiction on this community. Not without an excuse.

Kazuma solves everything with punching and flexing his muscles. He doesn't really think about sex either, or at least isn't a pedophile.

All it takes for him to fight is for someone to piss him off. He doesn't really seem to care about a code of honor either, and probably wouldn't worry about resorting to low blows.

Fighting's just essentially what Kazuma is.

That said...

Ranma 1/2. Assuming Genma survived, and the two somehow wound up fighting at the Cursed Springs, he probably wouldn't even notice he was turned into a woman.
