Okay, the reason (as far as I can tell) that I've been recruited is because I handled the Mafia games well over at The Gaming Community, because I was actually involved in the process of playing the game, and could tell the difference between calling somebody a liar or scum and being flamey.

So, Mafia is hereby reinstated at NPF, by the power vested in me.

Rules:

1) The GO's word is law. If they tell you to shut up and stop acting like an ass, you will shut up and stop acting like an ass, and be grateful that I didn't find you first.

2) It's hard to tell the difference between playing the game and getting worked up about the game sometimes. That's why I am head of this board. I can tell the difference between an in-game squabble and a full-blown insult. If you call somebody an asshole or a retard (or anything along those lines), that is an instant first strike, and likely a games ban until I deem otherwise.

3) Respect other players. If you get so worked up about the game, get up, walk away from the computer, and do something else until you feel you can act like a reasonable person.

4) People who are banned are not part of the board, and anything they did that can affect the game before their banning (I.E., voting), will be null. If they have been perma-banned, then they are (obviously) removed from the game.

5) Mafia is not an inalienable right. If you abuse it, I will take it away.

6) You have approximately 48 hours to send in a night role. 2 days. 2,880 minutes. 172,800 seconds. After that time has expired, day begins, as per when the GO posts. This rule is a guideline to keep week-long nights from plaguing us.

7) One game per GO at a time. We'll be putting extra games in a separate waiting list.

8) Three to four games, at my discretion, will be run at a time.

9) Any game I'm not in, PM me a role list so I know what's goin' on.

10) It is a game. It is supposed to be fun. Go have fun, but keep these ground rules in mind.

That pretty much covers it.

11) No more than one deadpost unless you ask me first. The only exception to the rule is asking the GM to hurry up to do something when a game is dying. But ask me for any other reason.

Thanks.

12) GOs are now given the power to modkill any player they feel is acting against the atmosphere they wish to cater to in their game. IE: a player taking a lighthearted game too seriously (ruining the fun), or a player taking a serious game too lightly, (could be considered spamming).

Remember, kids, a game's a game and it's only a game so long as it remains fun. If it's not fun, then it's a chore. And we don't participate in Mafia Chores.

13) No double posting. Seriously guys, this isn't hard.
