1. How can I get this frickin' hypertext to work? It won't say what I want it to say, and it just says the link!

2. Also, is there some way to put a small vid or a pic in my sig?



3. And, a little, O/T here, but what does ninja'd mean?

Ninja'd means you posted, and it showed up right after someone else's post, meaning they beat you to saying what you were saying.

Video and picture signatures are disabled on NPF, for bandwidth and eyebleeding reasons. Unless Fruitad gets a huge knock on the head soon, it's not coming back either.

And by hypertext, do you mean {url=http://www.blank.com}Text here?{/url}

Also, the sig is pretty huge, and I'm sure that we made a three/four line signature maximum a few months ago.

I'll let an admin talk about the rest.

Five line limit on the sigs. <html></html> is disabled, use VBcode (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/misc.php?do=bbcode).

is that a jab at Fuitad or a mispelling?

And yeah for html links you have to either 1. hilght the text you want to be a link, and THEN click the link button or 2. modify the hilighted text in your post after you insert (and I mean immediatly after! Don't click or anything) the http link.

It's how I do it, it tends to be easier.

It's how I do it, it tends to be easier.

Seriously? I mean, I know the coding and it's simple... but the buttons are way easy copy paste stuff. I prefer to touch the keyboard as little as possible myself.

I find that highlighting, then clicking a button, then typing in the link is more work than hitting an extra 12 keystrokes.
