Final Fantasy Tactics D20 Recruitment

Anyone looking to join in on the Final Fantasy Tactics D20 project can email me or post here concerning joining the effort. This is the original document posted on nuklearpower (http://www.nuklearpower.com/8bitmedia/FFT_D20.pdf). I also worked out a variant about a year before that pdf, here (http://www.enworld.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=10122) and here (http://www.enworld.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=10123). This project is not moving steadily forwards due to my preoccupation as a professional student and the amount of time I already devote to gaming of varied types. I do enjoy slowly working on the project as a whole, however, and enjoy trying different methods and styles of building the project.

Hmmm... I've already made a Lancer prestige class made, but I could convert it into a normal class. I've already converted their ability to ignore heights, jump attack, Dragon Soul ability, and ability to use both a spear and a shield at the same time. If you'd like to see it, I could just copy and paste it here.

It's not too hard, but it DOES take a bit of cash to buy the books necessary. Well, that mostly depends upon who your DM is and if you're going to do a campaign in something like Forgotten Realms or something like that, where you'll need to buy the book for it. You can download the books in Acrobat form from Kazaa, but I prefer to have the real thing in front of me. Much easier to flip through a book than an Acrobat file that has no bookmarks.

I'd be willing to give a hand. I don't know how usefull I'd be thought. I mean Im smack in the middle of University, and also am designing my own indepth campaign setting.

But, hell I'll playtest and stuff like that. And give advice.

Well theres always the system reference document, it's a legal copy of most of the information for dungeons and dragons 3rd edition. Also anything covered by an OGL is legal to provide others with.

I own FFT and a book of D&D, that is compressed in one big file of 7000 pages. Edition two though:-((. Pity. I'd love to join (if it's a roleplay.)

Yeah, I'd love to be able to play my Lancer/Bard in some D&D goodness. I'm currently reworking my Lancer class, though. I had one of my friends who's a real big 3rd Edition expert look at it and he said that a few things were a bit bunk.

Pretty cool game, but not quite what we're making. Our game would be using the 3rd edition D&D ruleset, and secondly would focus on the unique system of Final Fantasy Tactics, rather than that game which uses a hodgepodge of all FF's to roughly recreate any FF game, or create an original FF style game.

:rmage: Well I volunterred when it started and since then I continued it in my own fashion. I have transfered the entire Tactics system to d20 rules and I only have a few thigns left, if someone wants to offer classes, items, spells, etc, feel free. :rmage:
